Travelling party: Couple

This site is not about 5* or facilities it’s about the welcome and friendliness of the staff. A small rustic site on the lake, just outside Iseo (20 mins walk). We were met and then given a welcome drink coffee / wine whilst the booking in was processed and then taken to our pitch. Good size pitch with a view of the lake. It has a bar, restaurant and shop with essentials. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and offers really nice food that is not expensive. Accept that it is close to the road and the train line but we would return here because it has such a welcoming feeling . Good swimming in the lake and beautiful sunsets.

Good welcome, complete with a free drink. Slightly tight for moving around with a large unit, but manageable. Could only stay one night as they were full.

One of the best welcomes we\'ve ever received. We were shown a choice of pitches then offered a glass of wine whilst reception completed the paperwork. Despite it being the end of season the site was busy and everything was open. I would recommend a trip over to Monte Isola. If you are feeling up to a good walk it\'s a 1.5 hour walk to the ferry from the campsite. There is a train right behind the site but they stop at night.
