This is a large campsite with a lovely lakeside position. Our pitch was quite near the lake, which was great. Toilet facilities good, but annoying that they were closed for cleaning at 8 am in the morning, when everyone was wanting to use them! Busy road into Sirmione, which was very crowded.
Superb campsite... facilities were excellent. Didn’t use the pool, but the food was great.... even did gluten free pizza, which for me is a big bonus. Shop not well stocked but great maxi supermarket within easy walk. We were a little disappointed with the general area ( built up and commercialised), but that doesn’t detract from the site itself. Sirmione is very touristy as is the whole bottom end of the lake. If you want that sort of thing then this is for you. We prefer something a little more natural.
An excellent site right on Lake Garda. Staff friendly and helpful. Pitches a bit on the small side and some have trees making manoeuvring a bit difficult. Excellent washing/toilet facilities with part of the block just for children. Lovely beach at the lakeside with pedalos and kayaks for hire. Good restaurant/bar with a wide selection of food at reasonable prices which was very accommodation to families. Take away pizza and other snacks also available. Great play area and games room for children. This site seemed much more calm and well run than some of the other sites we\'d looked at around Garda,
A lovely location by the lake. Standard pitches very small and just about adequate for medium sized caravan. A lively site even mid June with many young children. Very lively so don’t expect to get to sleep much before midnight. We were also unlucky with yapping dogs that should have been better controlled.
This is a lovely location right on the lake and very convenient for the historic town of Sirmione which is well worth a visit by bike or bus. There is a large supermarket in cycling distance in town. The toilet blocks are exceptional and even have an area designed for young children. I haven\'t commented on the pool or food/drink as we didn\'t use them this time but they look good. The only small niggle is that the pitches themselves are a bit uneven and not as large as in some sites less busy. Nevertheless we had a lovely stay on our way to Hungary and on the way back.
This is our 3rd year in a row to this site which more or less sums up our thoughts. We like it very much.Pitches are not exactly large and the ones we have been on have a bit of slope but,so what,I haven't come all this way to sit in my motorhome. The ambience of the site is its biggest asset.Quiet on a night when you need it but lots to do during the day.The lake front is very pleasant to sit and watch the world pass you by.The restaurant is reasonable and the food was good without been too expensive.Sirmione is a nice place to visit as are many others within cycling distance from the site.In all the visits we have had here,I haven't once had to queue for a shower and they have always been pleasantly warm if not exactly hot.
Stayed May bank holiday weekend and gosh was the site and surrounding area busy. 2 toilet blocks were good with ample facilities including washing machines and dryers when open (always seemed to be one block closed for morning ablutions). Dog walking was limited although dog washing area was nice touch. Restaurant was good (both choice and preparation) although a little pricy. Very noisy site with management not prepared to clamp down so moved on after one day of suffering.
A very busy site on lake garda. Pitches are between trees, once on are ok but tight to get in. The pitches nearer the lake are mud/dusty not 4* some pitches were sloping and tightly packed in. There is a nice lakeside green area but the lake here is a murky brown colour not blue like manerba or sirmione. The nearby site had loud entertainment till 11pm. Hot water in showers and facilities good, wouldn't describe as excellent compared to others in Italy. Close to sirmione and Desenzano to catch train to Verona. The swimming pool is very nice but across the road on another section of the campsite you have to go round the car park and under the road pass, you also have to wear a swimming hat in the pool. You can buy one at expense from the lifeguard! This site is for families not couples.
Excellent campsite with luxurious facilities. The only drawback was that the pitches were in between trees and very difficult to get into.
