Campsite Vallecrosia is a campsite with 65 touring pitches. During low season, between 23-04-2019 - 30-06-2019 and 08-09-2019 - 27-10-2019, the nightly rate is €20,- at one of the 65 touring pitches at Campsite Vallecrosia in Vallecrosia (Imperia).
Small, quiet campsite with pitches marked out by wooden fences and very neat toilet facilities. Located on the sea. Most of the campsite is set under beautiful old trees. There is a separate place on the beach for walking your dog. Nice new bar and lounge.

Nice, convenient overnight stop on our way from France to Firenze. Very helpful staff found me a local garage who could re-gas the van cab\'s air-con the same morning for a very reasonable price (Fiat Ducato). Pitches are a little small, but big enough to take a 3.5T coachbuilt motorhome. Showers and toilets were good and there\'s a snack bar on site. Bread and pastries can be ordered the evening (19:00) before for collection in the morning. ACSI fully recognised and accepted.
A small campsite within a short walk across the road to the pebbly beach. Easy access to Ventimiglia where there is a good train service to Monaco and Nice. Friendly staff. Good facilities. Small pitches but plenty of shade if needed. Snack bar and fresh bread and pastries available for morning collection. Stayed 6 nights so a good recommendation.
Adequate as a one night stopover, although others felt it worth staying longer. Friendly staff and good bar. Clean facilities. Very small pitches off one access road, little separation from neighbours. Convenient for shopping, not the nicest sea front on the coast.
Visited this site for 1 night only, prior to driving into France. Be careful which road SatNav directs you to site as there is a very low bridge on directed route, watch out for the signs. Staff were extremely polite & spoke good English. Toilet/shower facilities clean (although not keen on washbasin ‘open’ doorway policy) , pitch fairly small but ok for the 1 night, maybe higher priced pitches bigger, not sure. Village looks typical Italian, but didn’t have time to visit. Beach across road & area looks like it’s going thru a renovation so promenade area should be very pleasant when completed
Arrived in Ventimiglia and found site. Felt uncomfortable with area. Did not book but when arrived relatively late in evening we found the site was closed, it looked run down with 2/3 dogs roaming around inside gates. Used ACSI book and found an excellent site 30/40 mins away.
This is an improving campsite run by a team of young , friendly people who spoke excellent English. The pitches for Acsi use are about 6 -7metres long so we paid an extra 3 euros for a larger pitch. The toilet & shower block is very clean and has good showers with hot water. The new bar is a good addition, drinks are a good price and served with a smile and conversation should you want it.
The beach is the other side of the quiet road from the site, some reviews have commented on the dirty beach, we didn\'t find this , although the sand is brown and it\'s a mostly pebble beach, which gives a false impression.
A word of warning, when accessing the site from the Ventimiglia direction don\'t use the first or second road on the right. The first is through very tight housing, the second has a tunnel only suitable for a car. Take the road on the right at the traffic lights a little further along.
We would happily stay here again, it was peaceful, comfortable camping.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Nice touch having a bar on site. Campsite is smart. Showers are fantastic - hot and clean. Great place to stay to access Monaco (drive to Ventimiglia then 25 mind by train, 10 Euro return)
Small camp site at the scruffy end of the beach, this site has no pool and a filthy beach in front of the site, the pitches are compact soil with fencing or hedging partitioning, staff member who was the owner was very welcoming and spoke very good English, toilet block was clean but a little dated. Unfortunately we will not return, rundown area and over priced.
Finally one thing that really annoyed my wife and myself was being informed we could not put down a breathable ground sheet on the dirt pitch as it damages the grass, what grass!
