Good site for access to Rome\'s sites only an hour away, (1 tram, 1 bus).
Excellent toilets and showers.
Grumpy aggressive staff but this is Italy!!
Pitch very poor crammed in like sardines.
Good for visiting Rome with a supermarket open 24/7 5 minute walk away.
BEWARE this site charges an extra for a dog despite it supposing to be included in the ACSI rate. They clearly have a lot of complaints about this as they were well rehearsed and ready to show me the ACSI book which they claimed showed it didn\'t.... Wasn\'t allowed to choose own pitch but pitch allocated wasn\'t big enough so took another one and told reception. 6A EHU fine. Drinking water tap at side of pitch was good. Free Wifi very slow/didn\'t work most of the time. Toilets good (clean, plenty of hot water, nice loo roll, hand dryers, etc) but the incessant piped classical music wore thin after a while. Cycle path into Rome is reasonable although not the easiest to access from the campsite.
This camp site needs one more toilet facility. Tent sites are too far away. Toilets needs to be renovated on the other side. There were only one shower with a proper hanger on the men\'s side.
Good for Rome BUT only drive in style car park pitches and soaking in wet weather. My two showers at 8am were like warm to cold. WiFi patchy.
Ideal location for visiting Rome attractions, train station is 500 meters from campsite, 15 minutes into Rome for 0.80 cents each (tickets from reception) then its about 800 meters walk to Spanish steps another 500 meters to Trevi Fountain and 1200 meters to Colliseum.
Campsite pitches are small, that said we lucked out with a larger one, but there are only about 5% this size, toilet block is immaculate with all day cleaners on site. Stayed in low season so was excellent value for money.
Excellent facilities for bungalows but camping pitches are narrow and slightly inclined. Nice pizzeria and swimming pool. 20 mins to to sites of Rome by train
An excellent campsite when visiting Rome. All the facilities you expect and use are there and are great. Easy transport in to Rome with tickets for all transport available on site. Toilets/showers are superb and the pool is nice. Supermarket across the road is excellent and on the way back from the local train station, important for that nice bottle of wine or few beers you will need after a great day in Rome.
Excellent campsite for visiting Rome. The San Facs are first class. The staff at reception are very knowledgeable about visitor attractions, bus routes, trains etc.
A brilliant point from which to visit Rome. Access to the site is straightforward and the staff were really helpful. They have their own tourist information adviser who was excellent at working out the best deal for our three days in the eternal city. The toilet facilities are the best I have ever encountered in over 50 years of camping/motorhoming. Good publc transport access into Rome and a local supermarket across the road. What else could you wish for?
What a superb site for visiting Rome. Simone at the Information Point was outstanding, she was honest and very knowledgeable. Some of the pitches were a bit tight and could be better kept. However ours was okay. The Restaurant was good and the toilet and shower facilities are the best I have seen. Well done guys.
