Travelling party: Couple

Toilets and showers leave a little to be desired but on the plus side the washing up area is very good. Some pitches are very sandy and we got well and truly stuck. if that happens the campsite will get you out, so no need to panic. overall, a good campsite but the ablution area we used needs attention.

We found this campsite very clean and with good facilities (ablution, shop, restaurants). We had a pitch next to the beach so the road noise did not worry us. There are lots of trees on site which made it difficult to get into the pitch as the trees are not only on boundary of pitch but randomly in the middle.

On reviewing this site we didn’t use swimming pool or sports facilities so we just put a nominal score in. Ok, firstly let me say girl behind the reception was lovely and friendly. there are some toilets and showers that have been refurbished next to ladies and these are good and lots of hot water. The older ones are pretty poor but still useable. it’s a very big site which was quite empty and right on the beach but wow it’s so noisy from the main road throughout the night. Heavy lorries. Difficult to sleep at night. For me not a good reflection for an ASCI site. Needs some care and attention. For me the worst part was having to go across the road to service the camper. Also very poor signage and I find this generally at Italian sites. People want to do the right thing and empty chemical toilets in the right place. But it needs to be clear. When I did find the service area it really was poor. I emptied the toilet but didn’t trust the water. Really dirty and poor condition. So will fill up elsewhere. Shame. as got no sleep.
