Stayed 2 nights- managed to visit Pompeii in afternoon or arrival 3 hours was enough of walking around - trainers or walking shoes! Did Herculaneum by train the next day - very easy and not to be missed! Went by public bus to Vesuvius - bus stop and timetable outside railway station- don’t drive or attempt to cycle there! Hot water in showers toilets very good - the restaurant upstairs uses them and so they have toilet paper. Also be careful on exit with a long van so you don’t ground out. Great place to visit the sites.

Probably the worst camping I have stayed in. The toilets are absolutely disgusting, dirty, old, small... Don`t come here if you need to use the toilets or showers! Moreover, the unoccuped pitches are used as parking per hours for Pompei visitors, with the resulting movement of cars all day around. The problem is that it seems that all the campings in the area are bad.

Used for one night stop over to visit Pompei. The gentleman on reception was really helpful. The pitch was ok for a one night stop over. The showers are tiny but clean. Pizzeria at the site entrance was good. Cross the road and the entrance to Pompei is there.

A great site for visiting Pompeii with the entrance just across the road from the site. Toilet block was clean and well maintained but small and more cramped than other Italian sites we have been on.

Campsite is in the perfect position for visiting the ruins of Pompeii being only 100 metres from the entrance.
The site is situated between a railway track and motorway so there is quite a bit of traffic noise, the toilets are adequate but the showers are so small it is impossible to undress inside and if you did manage to do so, your clothes would get wet through from the shower....basically the showers are about the same size as a phone box but with nowhere to hang your clothes...
The onsite restaurant is very good and reasonably priced and their pizzas are enormous and freshly made...Only stayed 2 nights whilst visiting the ruins of Pompeii..

Steep entry/exit for large motorhomes so grounding a possibility. Busy area and traffic heavy most times. Restaurant at top of site. Wide pitches but at peak times probably doubled up. Some of site used as local car park as seems to be case for other Pompei sites. Shower so tiny I felt I was wearing it and early shower always cold. Only 2 showers and one toilet per gender but clean. Motel on site and a little unsettling to see couples coming and going every two hours, I\'m broad minded but you may not be. That said, spectacularly close to the Pompei site and train station to Amalfi coast

Friendly, helpful staff convenient for the Pompei ruins. Showers clean and hot but very small. Good value for money.

Great place for visiting Pompei entry to the ruins just across the road, Quiet at night, very small site but facilities very clean, Staff very informative, not far from railway station for visiting further afield

We stayed here 4 nights. Very very close to Pompeii ruins and train station to Sorrento or towards Naples and Herculaneum etc. The site is small but we found very clean. We had a two pitch site but may have had to move over if they needed the space for another motor home or caravan i guess. Next to a train track but the noise is not bat at all as the trains seem to go slow and lasts seconds. The streets are busy but you can hardly hear the noise especially at night. The showers are very tight but are clean and lost of warm water. With the money they take in Pompeii i would hope they put some money into the local roads and rubbish clearing because without our hard earned money i feel this place would be on its back side!

We chose this site based on price & it's true you get what you pay for. Directed to the row of pitches at the front opposite the bungalows we did not realise until the evening these are rented out by the hour, so expect continuous cars & the cleaning trolley parked at the end of the row, to go up and down all night, not much sleep for anyone! Great location but this and the small showers, only 2 per sex, put us off. Paid by card yet extra charges were applied too, beware!
