average campsite in almost every way. best bit for us was to see a large community of flamingos nearby. ask staff for "Fenicotteri" . bathroom facilities are good in the new block . electricity is a mere 3 amperes ( not 6A) as advertised. Wi-Fi only near restaurant.
Camping a 9 km dal centro abitato, raggiungibile con servizio pubblico o in bicicletta. Immerso nel Parco Nazionale del Gargano, è possibile incontrare, nella zona umida, fenicotteri rosa, cicogne e molti altri volatili.
Stayed here for 3 nights at end of season. Pitched in the front field to be closer to the beach. The toilets in the front field are terrible and showers non existent you have to go to the newish block in the other side which is not to bad. Why they dont invest in a new shower, toilet block asap i will never know it would make this site a much better place considering the lovely isolated gently slopping beach. I will look to see if they listen to our recommendations :-)
Stayed a week fabulous beach and out Labrador Rosie loved it- had an amazing horse event on the beach on Sunday with 50+ horses - they then had a 3 hour pranzo!
Quite far from manfredonia but we cycled in and visited the daily market for the most amazing fresh fish and veg! Don’t miss out on the buffalo mozzarella farm on the way back! Don’t try and visit mont sant Angelo by campervan over 6m! Get the bus! Don’t cycle unless your Tour de France standard! Toilets basic and hot water in showers at a premium - regulars were showering at 4pm 2.5 hours before sunset! Had some electrical tripping issues on the last night - otherwise we would have stayed longer. Some people stay here for months!Loved the beach and campsite- hope to return!
Site is divided into 2 separate areas, one adjacent to the beach with shaded pitches and ample EHU points but no ablutions, although only a short walk to the second area where there are such facilities. Quiet when we arrived but got more crowded and noisy with locals staying over the weekend. Would stay again!
Quiet friendly campsite amongst the trees. Toilet facilities nearest to beach didn\'t look up to much but showers and toilets in main block were great.
Beware, you are not alone as the trees provide a great hunting ground for the mosquitoes (of which there are plenty!)
Good value for money.
ruime en rustige camping in juni, goed en efficient onthaal, prima lokaal restaurantje. Vlakbij het strand. Chaotisch maar boeiend stadje op fietsafstand
Basic site. Lovely beach but Middle of nowhere - ok for chilling for a day. Good hot free showers and very clean. Watch out for ants nests - they're everywhere. The wifi is free but awful - they never seem to have s connection for more than 4 minutes cnd it goes off! Very peaceful site though and cheap for high season. The shop is small but very well stocked with basics.
A good stopover site on the east coast either on the way south or north. There are hard standing pitches just as you enter the site which most people are directed to. But if you want a larger pitch then go towards the beach, and set up on large grassy pitches, a little walk to the facilities. 50 metres but in my opinion a nicer place to stay as you get sun and shade and quiet. Easy campsite to find and not crowded. Also a lot easier to navigate around than most Italian sites. Not a lot to do in the area
