Meltemi Camping, is excellent for its interests in environmental factors and how it encourages its users to do the same. The family owned business is always professional and at same time caring. We have been going there over twenty years, from the time we were a young free couple on a motorcycle, then by truck with the family and grandparents. It's our first choice every time. We eat at the restaurant and love the grill in the evening. The quality of the food reflects the Greek traditional cuisine. There is plenty of choice for everyone and a great variety cooked daily, there is always lots of fresh fruit and vegetables on offer too. It's great they even use their own grown olives and oil.One very important factor is the toilets and showers, they are kept clean and safe. This happens continuously throughout the day, you will not expect to see this level of outstanding hygiene, but Meltemi achieves it. Same goes for community cooking area and laundry spaces.We enjoy the entertainment, and whoever we bring with us loves it to. From cinema, to the pool, basketball and of course table tennis, we are spoilt for choice.We have always felt Meltemi was a safe place for our children. We have confidence in the staff, and the security of the site. So we can all enjoy ourselves there, no matter what time of the day or evening it is. There is always someone to provide assistance if you need it.We know Meltemi deserves this award for its outstanding achievement of one of the best campsites in Europe.
