Mitari Camp: A beautiful place with a serious problem

We’ve been spending our summers at Mitari Camp for 6 years. The beach is wonderful, the nature is stunning, and the overall atmosphere used to feel like home during our month-long stays. We never minded the condition of the bathrooms or the fact that hot water is paid – we accepted it as part of the charm of camping life.

However, we are now seriously reconsidering coming back, and this review is a warning for future guests: avoid the B line, especially Delta 23. Some families who rent those spots long-term have created an unbearable atmosphere. They act like they own the entire camp, watching and judging everyone around them. They harass foreign tourists, make xenophobic remarks, constantly complain, and monitor every move others make.

They go as far as confronting people on the beach for simply laughing or talking, complain about parking spaces, then park their own vehicles there, and treat newcomers like intruders. It’s exhausting and toxic. This year, we personally witnessed five families cut their holidays short because of them.

Sadly, the camp management does nothing, despite multiple complaints from guests. Until that changes, Mitari Camp is no longer a safe or peaceful place to relax.
