At Campsite Mitte in Medelby (Schleswig-Holstein) camping costs as little as €20,- per night during low season with CampingCard ACSI. A modern, quiet, open campsite in the middle of a nature reserve. Indoor and outdoor pool. Plenty of flexibility in the way you choose to spend your time. Good stopover site for people driving to or from Scandinavia.

Travelling party: Seniors

Stopped here on the way up to Norway and on the way back. Was charged per night both times with no explanation plus a handling charge on card payment. Went to do a small amount of hand washing and guess what. No laundry sinks in either toilet blocks. Asked at Reception and was told there are no Laundry sinks. Oh well, back to the bucket method on the pitch. Otherwise a well located site and a good stopover.
