Camp for €20,- a night at Campinginsel Havelberg in low season with CampingCard ACSI. This campsite is situated on an island surrounded by the River Havel with lovely views of the Dom (cathedral). The historic centre is linked to the island by a bridge, 200 metres away. Ideal for cycling and walking in the beautiful countryside.

Travelling party: Seniors

Mooie camping op een eiland aan de Havel en de Elbe waar we veel gefietst hebben. Alleen zie je de rivieren niet want je fietst er ver vandaan onder aan de dijk of door het weidse land. De fietspaden zijn goed aangegeven met regelmatig plattegronden onderweg. Op het Elbefietspad kilometerslang geen dorpje te zien dus zelf drinken en eten meenemen. Op het Havelfietspad wel wat dorpjes tegengekomen, zelfs een visrestaurant waar je ook koffie kon drinken. Op de camping is er alleen wat eenvoudigs te eten (braadworst) maar er is een gezellig terras waar je een lekker biertje/wijntje kunt drinken. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk. De wifi is gratis maar heeft beperkt bereik, alleen rondom het terras.

Travelling party: Seniors

Bijzonder vriendelijk onthaal, enkel de "Mittagsruhe" tot 14 uur is vervelend als je buiten staat te wachten op de beperkte parkeerplaats. Ruime plaatsen. Op 300 meter lopen ben je in de stad Havelberg langs de voetgangersbrug.

Eenvoudige, mooi gelegen camping bij leuk stadje. Ook aardige plaatsjes binnen fietsbereik.. Elbeoever is echter beperkt ontsloten.
