Good restaurant in a former mill building with a patio, open from Thursday to Sunday. The campsite was completely renovated after the floods in 2021, including a new toilet block.

Midden oktober hier gestaan, waren de enige. We konden op een verhard stuk staan vanwege de regen, plekken drassig. Nieuw sanitairgebouw, niet verwarmd. Douchen met kaart incl. ACSI en 4 kWh

Mooi gelegen camping! Vriendelijke beheerder, sanitair mooi en schoon.
prima restaurant met goede prijzen.
Leuke fietsroutes en goede uitlaat mogelijkheid voor de hond.
De camping heeft door de overstroming van vorig jaar nog wel wat werk,
maar we hebben er prima gestaan.
We komen hier zeker terug!

We hadden plaats aan de oever van de Prum helaas weinig water maar ik heb wel kunnen vliegvissen.
Er loopt een prachtig fietspad achter de camping over een oude spoorlijn dus fietsen zonder klimmers.
Zeker een plaats om terug te komen goede schaduwplekken en een prima restaurant.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

De camping is een natuurcamping bestaande uit 4 velden voor seizoensgasten en 2 velden voor vaste gasten en gelegen in de Eifel waar natuur en rust samengaan. De camping beschikt niet over een zwembad of animatie, maar er is een riviertje dat om de camping heen stroomt waar men verkoeling kan zoeken en kinderen zich in alle plezier kunnen vermaken zoals vissen, dammen bouwen, varen en fossielen zoeken.

De staanplaatsen zijn ruim opgezet en zijn voorzien van een stroomvoorziening welke per kW verrekend wordt en nabij elke plaats is er een tapwaterpunt te vinden.

De sanitaire voorzieningen zijn compleet vernieuwd en worden goed onderhouden. Voor douchen wordt een kaart gebruikt voor warmwater welke opgewaardeerd wordt.

Op de camping bevindt zich een restaurant, deze is zeer bekend in de omgeving en echt een aanrader om tijdens je verblijf heerlijk uit eten te gaan.

De omgeving kenmerkt zich door heuvelachtig landschap omgeven door bossen en landerijen, doorbroken door verschillende riviertjes zoals de Prüm en de Mandelbach. De omgeving biedt vele mogelijkheden om te wandelen en te fietsen en er zijn ook wandelroutes aangeduid.

In de omgeving zijn diverse dorpen en steden aanwezig om de dagelijkse boodschappen te doen zoals Waxweiler, Prüm en Bitburg en zeker de moeite waard om heerlijk doorheen te slenteren. Ook zijn er genoeg gelegenheden om een dag eropuit te trekken naar de Eifel Zoo, Eifel Park, Teufelsschlucht of het Dinopark.

Al met al een prachtige camping waar we met plezier terug komen.
