We visited this site in early June this year and are planning a return visit for next year.
We loved it. The staff were brilliant, spoke good English and were helpful in many ways.
We paid a little extra as we were on a full service pitch, but that was our choice. The site is very well kept and has something for everyone, there are secluded pitches or ones on the main thoroughfare or as we chose full service with hard standing level platforms built in, these were off to one side.
The toilet and shower facilities were excellent, and no messing about when one was closed for cleaning, just use the other, so if the male facilities were being cleaned and you needed the loo, no problem, everybody used the female side.
The site is surrounded by trees and is very peaceful,there is a riding school incorporated with Icelandic ponies, didn\'t partake ourselves, but nice to see and have around.
Sarburg itself is an interesting and picturesque small town, (the cable car is worth a go) and is just a short drive to Luxemburg and France (Theonville) if you fancy a French supermarket.
You are in the Mosel wine region, so plenty of opportunity to try and buy superb wine. Trier a short drive away and worth a visit.
Overall, highly recommended.

Lovely peaceful site with large flat pitches at a very reasonable price. Toilet facilities are good and cleaned regularly. Will use this site again most certainly. Saarburg well worth a visit and only a few kilometres away.
Bread available daily and friendly staff.
