Didn\\\'t use the bar/restaurant so unable to comment.
Nice quiet campsite on the lovely river Lahn (except busy road on opposite bank). We had a lovely pitch right by the waterside. Facilities clean and adequate. We had a lovely cycle into Koblenz and down to Marksburg Castle. Not much to do in Lahnstein, but the river Rhine frontage and cycle route are very pleasant. Would stay as a stop over again.

Travelling party: Single

First time camping for a while and was pleasantly surprised at the good standard of this site. Showers and toilets were clean and of good standard. Location on the river Lahn was pleasant. Staff all friendly. Dutch owner speaks good English. The bar and food serving , eat in and take away opens at 5. Food quite basic. The only criticism was the adjoining lounge next to the bar is a smoking area which I’m not sure is legal and did spoil the experience. But overall a good experience

We had a great stay along the river for a couple of days. Staff were lovely and the facilities were super clean and warm. Very well positioned with nice views and walks on our doorstep as well as great location to drive into Koblenz and the ability to come back up to 11pm. We found it peaceful and quiet.

We stayed only one night but it was pleasent. Mr.Gerd was very kind and helpful. The toilets were clean enough (this is the first item i check everytime) wifi is only available at the Restaurant but the manager helped us to solve the wifi problem. Close enough to the city, but very close to the railway, so noisy:(
Concisely, i\'d prefer it again.

Great location. Excellent marked cycle routes from campsite. Enjoyed cycling along river to Kitzingen, returning on the opposite side of the river. Liked the music in the toilets and shower room. Enjoyed the bakery delivery in the morning. Excited to see a woodpecker feeding its baby in its nest right next to our caravan pitch.

Not too bad for our first camping experience in Germany. They guy seemed very proud to say the showers were free. Tip toilets at the entrance better then the middle of the campsite. Lovely views of the river and mountain. tad difficult to get to in a caravan maybe...

Lovely setting for this site next to the Lahn. We had a pitch next to the river which was spacious and comfortable. 6 amp electricity on the site so needs watching to ensure you don't blow the fuse. Wifi was 5 euros for 3 days. Signal was ok near reception but hardly reaches pitches. Staff really helpful and spoke good English. Site runs alongside river. On opposite bank is a road and there is a bit of noise. Train tracks also run alongside site but trains are fairly infrequent so we didn't get disturbed by them.
Great for cycling to Koblenz (approx 10km along a mostly flat cycle path). Lovely city and well worth a visit. If you go 10km the other way along the cycle path you can visit the beautiful town of Bad Ems. There's even a Beatles Museum there - home from home !!!
Toilet and shower facilities were clean, modern and free to use. Water costs 50 cents for 80 litres.
Don't be put off by the road nearby. This is a nice site well worth a visit. We didn't use the public transport because it was such a nice bike ride.
Aldi, Lidl and Globus Baumarkt (a large hypermarket) were all close together within a couple of miles of the site (on Koblenz Strasse). There are a few Globus sites but the one to go for is the Baumarkt.
Glorious April sunshine always makes places look and feel better but this site is well worth a visit. We didn't use the restaurant but it looked really nice. Little bar terrace outside too if the weather is good.
Access to the site is a bit tight but worth it.

We stayed here for only one night but it was very nice location next to a river and the people were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us on a very very busy day at the camp site in early September, facilities were all clean and modern but the cheery on the cake was the restaurant we had our best meal here on our tour of Europe, I observed all the dishes coming out of the restaurant and all were very well presented we had schnitzel with sour cherries and it was a great combination fantastic.
