Prime location near Bacharach, good cycle route to Bingen and across on the ferry to Rudesheim. Pay extra for pitch near the river but worth it. Can order fresh bakeries for breakfast. Exceptionally friendly and helpful couple. Used the washing machine twice. Didn\'t try the restaurant.

A busy campsite in a lovely place by the river, with its own bathing beach and direct access to riverside walking/cycling path. We had a lovely warm welcome from the owner - couldn\'t have been more helpful. Unfortunately there were cars parked on the motorhome service point just as we needed it - nobody offered to move them which was annoying, but that\'s life. Bacharach is a gorgeous town and we cycled up to Sankt Goar just past the Loreley straits one day (lovely) and down to Bingen (nothing to write home about!) the next.

This is a relatively expensive site. Very pleasant location although it runs alongside a main road and railway line which can make it noisy. Close to the very quaint town of Bacharach with plenty of amenities. The camping pitches are the opposite side of the access way to where the power points are located so an extension cable is essential. Hot showers are not included in the price.

Fantastic site, great location, Rhine cruises 5 minutes walk, Bacharach is a lovely town 10 minutes walk. Owners very helpful and friendly. This was the highlight of our 6 week trip to Austria, Germany and Italy.
