Travelling party: Seniors

Good site near the river bank. There had been bad flooding the week prior to our arrival and the site was in major recovery mode with all pitches waterlogged and muddy after use. Felt sorry for the Owners. Shower tokens are issued daily for CC but rather short shower time. Stop shower to lather up and start again to rinse. Wifi was free and excellent on our pitch near the river. Good cycling both directions and recommend a circular tour from Bingen including ferries, chair lifts and Castle tour.

Travelling party: Single

this is a perfect location for Bacharach a wonderful picturesque small town. bars and restaurants also a small supermarket. however the downside to the site is you have between 2-3 feet between motorhomes , I could live with that not sure about safety regulations though but the main issue for me is the abysmal wifi. I would have stayed longer (stayed 2 nights) but the wifi was the deal breaker for me. I’m sure cost wise they could justify the investment but just tells me the camper is second best !

Travelling party: Couple

Prime location near Bacharach, good cycle route to Bingen and across on the ferry to Rudesheim. Pay extra for pitch near the river but worth it. Can order fresh bakeries for breakfast. Exceptionally friendly and helpful couple. Used the washing machine twice. Didn\'t try the restaurant.
