With the Mecklenburger Seenplatte lakes and the woods so close you can relax wonderfully or be active on foot, by bike or in a boat. Plenty of birds for bird spotters. The 'Nossentiner Schwinzer Heide' and 'Sternberger Seenland' Nature reserves are close by.
