Travelling party: Couple

A nice site with terraced pitches some with good views of the forest. Lots of walking and cycling opportunities directly from the site. Village in walking distance but a steep hike back. Sanitary facilities under renovation but we\'re clean - and should be top notch when completed!

Friendly reception. little (if any English spoken) which is closed between 1 p.m. and 2.30 p.m
Good sized, level pitches which are not divided and are in terraces Electricity is metered so need to check readings.
Two well kept toilet/shower blocks which even at busy times did not need to queue. Excellent, well priced laundry facilities
A small restaurant, bar on site.
Got very full at the weekend but was still quiet at night
An excellent area for walking with marked routes starting near the site. Also convenient for exploring Goslar, Bad Harzburg and The Brocken.
Wi-Fi is free but it is of rather poor quality and frequently drops the further you are away from reception
