Attractive location in beautiful, green low mountain range of Northern Hesse, on the peninsula between the Werratal Lake and the Werra. Very good toilet and washing facilities and good cycling options. The romantic old town centre of Eschwege with its half-timbered houses is accessible via a pedestrian bridge and is the perfect place to shop and stroll.

Travelling party: Seniors

The campsite is well placed for visiting the old town, or following the Werra cycling route on which we had a good ride in each direction. There are the usual facilities and free WiFi that worked well. The ACSI discount rate is the maximum plus extra tax, on the site itself. Preferred this to the insecure Stellplatz (cheaper, but with metered electricity and minimal facilities). Didn't try the site Bistro, as prices were high, staff unfriendly and other guests noisy.

Travelling party: Couple

Sehr freundlicher Empfang Checkin problemlos. Waren mit dem Wohnmobil da und haben den Platz vor der Schranke genutzt. Somit auch die Toilettenanlagen nicht genutzt, die etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind. Bei dem Premiumstellplatz hinter der Schranke muß man immer noch Strom und Wasser "Münzen", das ist kein Premium!
