Site was very full when we arrived, there was a holiday that week. Was escorted to a very small area jammed jammed between two other caravans by a sullen child on a quad bike. Child was very angry that I could not speak fluent German. Stayed one night and left for a much nicer site.

Good site. We stayed longer than planned. A busy site so a bit jammed in but enough space for us. A lot of people were only there for a 1 night stopover.
Toilet facilities goodnice and clean. Hotshowers.
Warden friendly and helpful despite our lack of German. Nice restaurant on site we ate there a couple of times. Even had a pittza one night in the little kiosk area. Good site to visit the Romantic Road towns which was our plan.
Would definitely recommend and stay again if in area.

Easy access from the Romantic Road. Surrounded by woodland. Lots of resident campers who obviously know each other well and have meals together, therefore quite a bit more noise than other sites. However this stopped after 11pm. Pitch a little damp and muddy. Assume there has been lots of rain recently and as pitch shaded by trees has not had opportunity to dry out. Only 15km from Rothenburg which was definitely worth a visit. The no vehicle movement between 1 and 3pm is strictly enforced with chain across site road and barrier down so time your arrival and days whilst on site accordingly.

A really quiet site. Welcomed and told to pitch wherever we wanted. All facilities of high standard and as always in Germany kept spotless. The site is in an excellent position for trips to Rothenburg and Dinkelsbuhl on the Romantic Strasse. It is situated in the most beautiful forested area and there are any bike rides and paths for walking. Schillings first has a Norma supermarket. The lake just across the road from the site is wonderful. It's free and is well laid out with a little cafe lots of grass areas and steps in and out of the lake. There is an area for children. A lovely place to cool down. Highly recommended.
