Via een reservering kregen we een plaats E 34 toegewezen. Deze plek had niet onze voorkeur maar er was niets anders beschikbaar. Na een aantal keren over de camping gewandeld te hebben bleek dit lariekoek te zijn. Maar ach, we hebben vakantie, we vermaken ons wel. Het sanitair is prima, het eten bij het restaurant ook. Alleen het terras en de biergarten was open en alles via een afhaalbuffet. Geen probleem want het was droog. Als overnachtingscamping op doorreis is dit een prima plek, verder voor ons geen camping om nog eens naar toe te gaan.

Prachtige camping, mooi gelegen in een glooiende omgeving.
Sanitair is spotless. Prachtige (camper) plaatsen. Er is een Italiaanse (afhaal) keuken/ restaurant waar ze o.a heerlijke pizza\'s maken.
Snelweg 3 loopt een eind verderop langs, die hoor je wat op de achtergrond. Ons stoort het helemaal niet. Snachts heerlijk rustig. Verse brood dienst \'s ochtends.( Wel contant betalen). Goddelijk wandelpad om met de hond te lopen, om de hele camping heen met poepzakjes en afval bakken.
Medische mondkapjes verplicht, bij de receptie te verkrijgen en vaccinatie bewijs tonen bij aankomst.
Wij vonden dit een hele fijne camping en komen graag weer terug.

Travelling party: Single

Grote camping, ligt niet aan de rivier de Main maar ruim een halve km landinwaarts. 80% gevuld met stacaravans, inclusief schuurtjes en schuttingen maar passanten hebben een aantal eigen veldjes. Tussen 12.30 en 15.00 is nagenoeg alles dicht inclusief de toegangspoort. Je kan er niet meer in en uit. Ook diverse sanitairgebouwen zijn dan gesloten dus goed uitkijken waar je nog terecht kan. Met de auto naar Wurzburg (parkeren bij een mega grote gratis parking vlakbij de grote brug) en dan 800 meter lopen naar centrum. Kaart Wurzburg gratis bij de receptie. Mooie fietspaden naar leuke middeleeuwse stadjes (Loth, Wertheim en Marktheidenfeld). Grote supermarkten en gezellig winkelen in Marktheidenfeld (5 km).

De WIFI was de ganse dag verschrikkelijk slecht, volgens onze ervaring slechts 5 % dekking. Volgens de eigenaar lag het aan onze Smartphone(wel zeer nieuw model) ofwel aan het groot aantal kampeerders. Als men een camping heeft met veel plaatsen en men biedt gratis WIFI aan die 80 à 100% dekking geeft, moet men volgens ons de nodige voorzieningen doen. Andere campinggasten hadden hierover dezelfde mening. Het sanitair is prima in orde in goed verwarmde ruimtes. Er werd regelmatig ontsmet en gepoetst! Veel goede fietsmogelijkheden en inkoopmogelijkheden met de fiets te bereiken. Mooie kleine stadjes in de omgeving. Lekker vers geperst appelsap te koop aan zeer democratische prijs. Broodjes te bestellen dag voordien maar wel heel veel keuze.

Zeer gezellig.
Mooie stadjes in de buurt.
Prachtig fietsen langs de Main.
Camping op Hollandse veld perfect.
Restaurant redelijk, Italiaans, pizza\'s.
In stadje vlakbij, leukebiergarten, goede restaurants.
Vlakbij wijncultuur en proeven.
Broodjes service.

Hele fijne en gastvrije ontvangst, voor ons was het een fijne doorgangs camping. Op de terug weg nemen we hem zeker weer.

Een heerlijke camping, zeer vriendelijke geroutineerde Nederlandse beheerder. Hebben hier 5 nachten gestaan, begin juli en nog heel veel plekken vrij. Camping heeft een mooie gratis brochure beschikbaar, waar uitgebreide informatie in staat over bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Restaurant op de camping is zeer goed. Er zijn 3 sanitair gebouwen die altijd even schoon waren. Al met al een heerlijke camping, met vlak voor de deur een mooi fietspad lang de Main

Wij werden vriendelijk te woord gestaan door een Nederlands sprekende beheerder. Wij werden naar een plaats verwezen tussen de vaste plekken. Opzich niks mis mee, maar als het hoog seizoen is kan het wel erg druk zijn. Het sanitair ziet er keurig uit. We hebben in het restaurant gegeten ,een zeer uitgebreide kaart en het was lekker en betaalbaar. Vriendelijk personeel. Kortom zeker de moeite waard om terug tekomen als doorreiscamping.
