Nice campsite right next to the lake. We stayed on a ACSI pitch + taxes and a service charge we were not aware of.
Did feel having to pay extra to empty toilet in a machine a bit much.

Travelling party: Couple

This is a nicely situated, upmarket site which charges the second highest ACSI band. So why is it necessary to charge extra for cassette emptying in an automatic machine, with no alternative. The owner said that previously people were emptying all over the place, so he installed the machine. Imposing an extra charge won't fix that! Just greedy on his part. I won't return.

Travelling party: Seniors

Arrived on 26 June directed to an ACSi pitch and was told to set upand go to the office to pay. Went to office and the lady said to pay more than the CCA-price. We told her we were acsi and on an acsi pitch but she said its finished. She would accept that the book said 30th June. Found the guy who said she was wrong its half price ..made no difference to the very rude and refused acsi price. Another motorhome arrived at the same time and they also told to pay more than CCA-price after being directed to an acsi pitch.

I’ve given 5 stars because it would be unfair not to as we couldn’t stay because there was no room. I emailed the night before to see if they had room, very quick and polite email response directing me to their web site enquiry page. We are travelling around and limited fir time so couldn’t complete this and wait for a response. I only wanted one night so the email saying no availability would of helped, their site says 1 night could be available on turn up basis. We drove 3 hours to find no pitch. Fortunately the other ACSI site 10 mins away did have a pitch and were brilliant (not the site in the middle).
