nice site with plenty of of tree shade.
the site is on the edge of the town clean air zone. However if you venture into the town by car you will need a German clean air zone sticker ( assuming your car qualifies), or face a potential fine. The ACSI system for electric qualifies you for 4 kWh of electricity per day, once that is used up the electricity is turned off. to get the electricity back on you have to pay an additional fee per kWh in advance.

The site itself OK. It is easily accessed from the A8 motorway, and is good for a stopover. However, added to the ‘CC’ price, is tourist tax. The electric hook-up only includes 4kWh. All additional KwH at extra charge.! When the 4kWh is used up, the electricity just cuts out - possibly leading to a defrosted fridge if not noticed. Extra electricity has to be pre-bought from reception, or the automated check-in machine - and you have to predict how much you will need.

2 stays September 2024. First visit good . Not aware that site should have been booked through ACSI website but as had a card they gave me the ACSI rate. 2nd visit also in September 2024. Good site for overnight stops but also close enough to a bus stop into city which we used.

Quick 2 night stopover to wash clothes and see area.

Booked three nights, stayed four nights as we liked this site and felt very relaxed here. Augsburg worth a cycle in, nice route. Also handy to catch the train in to Munichfor a day. Would recommend.
Didn’t eat or drink here so can’t comment.

Hallo Acsi Team. Wir wollten Augsburg besuchen und sind auf dem Campingplatz super empfangen worden. Das schöne war auch, wir hatten freie Platzwahl. So etwas lieben wir.

This large site has decent size pitches with shade, and is well located for cycling 7km into lovely Augsburg. There is some noise on site from the adjacent motorway. Shower block facilities are excellent ( accessed by guest key card) but the on-site restaurant is disappointing. On arrival at the site there is no waiting for reception to open - just pay by card to receive an electronic pass.

Just stayed for a one night stopover on way to Salzburg. Very shaded site. Handy for motorway. Toilet facilities clean but not many for size of site. Lovely lake and walk adjacent.

Overall a good site - the permanent residents around the edge give a shanty town feel- but the touring pitches are decent. small hedges separate the pitches, which are of varying size. there was a mix up
on the system, the first pitch we were directed to was already taken, but it was quickly resolved.
Bathrooms spotless, powerful showers. Laundry expensive and the drier used up a full token when we opened the door, after a minute, to add a dropped item. ACSI discount made it favourable
