What a shame about the bar/ cafe, but more of that later. Stayed for 1 night en route to Austria and 2 nights on way back. The camp site is easy to get to from the motorway with little noise either from motorway or Airport next door. Pitches level, shady and with water near by. All facilities clean and adequate. Reception staff very helpful. Restaurant looked very nice and popular, customers coming from off site. However, back to the bar/cafe our first visit middle of June so gave allowances for surly but helpful lady who served us although we felt like an inconvenience, she seemed surprised we wanted glasses to drink our beer there. Apart from her and a friend we were only ones there. Our second visit on return we took a chance and thought it may be better, it wasn’t! This time we were served, if you can call it that, by, again we were an inconvenience. Despite have orders ‘swei beir bitte’ for the last 3 weeks she pretended not to understand I had to resort to pointing at the pump only to be directed to the fridge. Again didn’t seem to want to give us glasses. This time there were5 of them there 3 cooking, but looking at them I we wouldn’t have touched anything they cooked. The ashtrays were overflowing. This was at about 17:30 on a Saturday evening on a busy site. It should have been full. Unless they are the site owners they are letting a very nice site down; such a shame

No disabled facility at all, steps to existing clean but old toilet block. All facilities a long way from pitches.
Free WiFi good. Handy for overnight stop due to location.

No children with us but little area near reception great for tinies . lake area would be great in good weather for older ones . didn\'t eat there. shower block dated but clean and warm...and unlimited hot water..unlimited electric and great WiFi. really easy to get to and some traffic noise because of this..but not enough to stop us hearing the birdsong.. pitches seemed to carry on size but not a problem in chilly mid May! cycled in to Augsburg on the afternoon we arrived....ok ...good route but still dome city traffic closer to centre. would recommend as stopover.

We stayed here for one night on the way to Croatia. The site is very popular and there was a queue waiting for the reception to open to book in at 4.00pm. Once booked in we were told to find a pitch. As said below access to everything, including the washrooms and the rubbish areas is via an electronic key. The pitches are ok but not massive. The washrooms are in a block next to the camp shop and cafe. They were ok but not super modern but were clean. We ate at the onsite Italian restaurant which we found excellent. The lake is lovely and well worth a walk. A good site for a visit to Augsburg or a transit stop.

Good stopover as handy access from motorway. Although very close to motorway noise was not disturbing. However expensive site with small tight access on to pitches. WiFi was free but poor. Easy cycle into Augsburg. Would probably not return unless on transit.

Planned to stay one night as a stopover, but as we liked the site decided to visit the town. We went by bike and route was not clear. Return was better. Town is very nice and visited several beautiful churches. Was well worth the visit. The lake at the campsite was great for a stroll around. We used the restaurant on two evenings. Recommended

Stayed three nights on route north. Good sized pitches seperated by hedges/small trees. Gravel laid over the pitch helps traction but felt a bit dusty. Noise fron the autobahn didn't affect us. Good walk around the autobahn see(lake) adjacent to the site. Within cycling distance of Augsburg and a good spot for a stopover. Toilets could have been a bit cleaner but acceptable. Didn't sample the food at the Italian on site.

We used this campsite as an overnight stop en route to Austria. The touring area is alongside the entrance and fortunately the furthest point from the motorway although there is always a hum in the background. The pitches are a good size and we appreciated the fact that the grass had been overlaid with gravel which is handy, especially for us motorhomers, as it gives a reliable and clean surface. There is free site wide WiFi which is useful. All the facilities, including rubbish disposal are only accessable with the use of an electronic key provided when you book in. The toilet/shower block was very good. Electric points may require a long lead depending on pitch. They have two pin connectors rather than the standard European CEE17 plugs. Had we stayed longer it would make a good site from which to visit Augsburg

We stayed for 2 nights, the overall is good for a transit camping.
A little noisy because the highway that is side by side.
The restaurant was nice, the food was good but not a lot of choice.
All was clean and well maintained.
The surrounding park and lake were really nice.
