Been coming here off and on for over 20 years,we normally have 2 days stop over on our way to Italy and the same on our return. we have always had a lovely welcome. Yes, the toilet blocks are showing signs of age but as I stated we have been coming for years. Town is lovely, and the train and bus pass are a bonus, and if you make use of the municipal pool, that is another plus

We had a lovely few days on this site. Reception staff all spoke good English.
Good wifi. Free train and bus pass on arrival, we caught the train to Freiburg and had a fantastic Thai red curry at the street food market, lots of other good food options too.
From the campsite, it's a 10mins walk into the lovely village of Staufen, which has an Aldi supermarket for all your shopping needs.
Good walking and cycling from the campsite.
We would definitely stay here again, many thanks

Travelling party: Seniors

A most abysmal, dirty and noisy site. The entrances to pitches are tight for medium to longer caravans.
Toilets not properly cleaned with broken toilet seats.
Very antiquated with need for a full restoration.
Pitches are very small even when large pitch booked in advance.
A very noisy site with busy adjacent road and railway alongside.
Not to be recommended.

We have always received a warm and encouraging welcome here, it has a lovely family feel. The staff are excellent,the pitches a goodly size, water and electricity are easily accessible. The pool is small and the water cold, perhaps a solar panel on the roof would help to warm the water.
Staufen, a beautiful town, is within walking distance and the provision of the Konus card is a real bonus.
This is a lovely site and one we will continue to use.

This is a beautiful site, it needs a little updating, the pool is quaint but cold. a solar panel to warm the water would be most welcome. having said that the location is great, the walking opportunities excellent, the staff kind and helpful.
We have used this site a number of times and will return again in the future.

Amazing place and about a 10-15 minute walk to the local village. Stunning views and beautiful walks nearby. Lovely and peaceful and you also get a card for the local swimming pool and a card for the public transport. Would highly recommend here and we will be going back to this campground

Travelling party: Seniors

All pitches appeared to be available to ACSI. You could choose your pitch. Staff were quite helpful and spoke good English. Never found the swimming pool, but most people seemed to go the the nearby public pool which was free to campers. Konus travel card given on arrival, allows free train, tram and bus throughout Baden Wurttemberg, from Karlsruhe to Stuttgart and Ulm and down to Basle and Konstanz. Easy to get into Freiburg by train and tram from nearby Staufen Sud Station, 15 minutes walk from site. Staufen quite pretty and has some restaurants and good patisseries.

Very friendly site in a lovely scenic area. Showers/toilets old fashioned and not really clean . Staff couldn’t be more helpful. the Pool is also really old fashioned we feel back in the 80th. No vehicular access to site between 12.30 -3.00pm and from 10.00pm til 8.00am stand on the barrier but it wasn´t down so could still access
