Fantastic camp site here in Black Forest. Staff very friendly, excellent toilet block. Enjoyed the showers - water on all the time, none of this pushing every couple of minutes to get a flow. Great shop in village - meat was fantastic and so tasty - going to buy some more steaks to take to my son in Switzerland! The weather was very mixed but we did manage to do a few walks. Would recommend hike to Kandel - great views from the top. Walks all very well marked and plenty of seating along the way to rest or have lunch. Did circular walk to St Margen with coffee & cake stop in St Margen - owner does all her own baking - highly recommend.

Travelling party: Couple

Good value campsite with great views on both sides. Mainly terraces of statics leading downhill but the touring pitches were situated on the highest point of the site on vacant plots at the end of these terraces. Toilet facilities were very clean and modern. The site is centrally located halfway between Freiburg and Triberg with great views whilst driving to these. Only disappointment was the owners were a bit distant and untalkative despite us both able to speak German.

Wonderful surroundings in a beautiful country. Efficient and pleasant reception staff and can find no fault with this site. Everything clean and organised.
