Stayed here for three nights. Weather was cold and wet so needed the heating on in the camper to dry cloths etc. I was surprised to be charged extra for the electric. The camp site was a good site with good facilities.

A stunningly beautiful wooded nature campsite on the edge of the Black Forest. Staff were so friendly & welcoming you go off & choose your pitch then head back to reception to tell them where you are. Pitches are pretty big. There is heaps to do from this campsite ideal if your into biking & walking. The campsite have a lovely outdoor pool not heated though so a bit chilly for Sept!!! There is a lovely family feel to this campsite. There is a well stocked shop (heaps of alcohol available!), fresh bread/croissants ordered daily, there is a bar restaurant area that feels like your in someone\'s front room however it\'s lovely which serves food & does take away. Showers & toilet facilities are immaculate, new & modern. The campsite provide free bus passes into Freudenstadt unfortunately we were there over the weekend & buses don\'t run on a Sunday so we couldn\'t use ours. Electricity was charged ontop of our stay however although we connected to the electric we used less than 1kw during our time here so it was minimal.

Super nice campsite. We had a lovely pitch right next to the creek. The lady working reception spoke very good English. We couldn\'t use our credit card, cash only, but it was a 3 mile walk into town to solve that issue. Clean bathrooms and plenty to service all staying. I don\'t have kids but very child friendly with a playground and other fun stuff. There\'s also a small restaurant serving food from 6 to 8 in the evening. Four hikes lead off from campsite with good maps supplied. If you have bikes there\'s plenty of trails too, i believe we\'re right next to a nordic skiing area. Fruendenstadt is a lovely town with a walking tour offered.

Very pretty campsite with a stream running through it. Dutch campsite owner very friendly and helpful. Facilities good with plenty of hot water. Restaurant had good food and wine. Plenty of walks from the site in typical Black Forest countryside. Campsite provided good maps. I would certainly recommend unfortunately we had very wet weather so left 1 day early

One of the best campings i have ever seen!
The pitches were great, a lot of space, a lot of shadows, a stream that crosses the camping, friendly staff, great location in the black forest.
Just perfect :)

An excellent site. Friendly and helpful staff, English speakers, lovely showers and clean toilets, wide variety of pitches in unusual layout, making good use of available space and features of the terrain. Free wifi at our pitch. Pool is smaller than many, but big enough to swim properly.

Free local transport, but check which station as the Hbf is actually a minor station. Most trains use the city station even though timetables refer to Hbf.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful; no questions or requests were left unanswered! Facilities were clean with extra amenities you wouldn't find at other campsites. Setting very beautiful, surrounded by the Black Forest on all sides, with campsites next to a stream. Amazing quality for a reasonable price - highly recommended!

Nice site deep in the black forest. An easy walk through the woods to Freudenstadt. The pitches were a good size and the facilities were of a high standard. Satellite TV worked in some parts. Several walking and cycling opportunities on the doorstep.

I estimate that this was one of our better campsites, despite the poor weather. Surrounded by the Black Forest and close to nature, but at the same time providing excellent facilities. Reception and assistance was very good. Easy to locate. We used the small pool once. We would have used it more often but again the weather disinclined our enthusiasm.A bike through the forest is an enjoyable experience and easy to ride through. A free tourist bus pass will get you in and out of Freudenstadt easily. Forget the car. Unable to use mastercard-paid cash.

Site is very good for motorhomes. Lots of pitches very clean, staff friendly and excellent with good English.
Go to the rear of the site and there is a footpath along which you can walk (40 mins) or cycle to Freudenstadt. Would go again if in the area.
