Well run campsite in the town, right on the river Neckar with an extensive restaurant. Good train and bus connections with Heidelberg. Level marked out pitches by the water. Friendly and helpful owner.

Nice site by the river,. We paid extra per night for a lovely riverside pitch. However upon checkout, we were charged per night for ‘water services’ and for excess electricity over 2 days. I know the ACSI book mentions that waste services and excess electric can be charged for, but I’ve never known it before and they didn’t mention this at checkin, which I think they should have as it’s so unusual.
Lovely site. Used the large tiered pitch (extra charge). Good centre for touring the area. Plenty of eating places nearby, Railway in the town. Friendly staff speaking English. Would visit again.
Lovely site however there less than 12 hours. 4 am asked to leave as site was going to flood due to the river being high.
Shocked that we were asked to pay.
Please beware don't go in bad weather not a nice experience at 4am.
Lovely, well kept and easy to find campsite right alongside the River Neckar and directly opposite the town of Eberbach, so a pleasant fifteen minute walk into town along the footpath / cycle path that runs directly behind the campsite. There is noise from the main road directly across the river. Very pleasant and helpful lady owner who keeps the site running smoothly and efficiently and well kept. The grassy pitches are a good size but it can be difficult to access if the surrounding pitches are full. They are very clearly marked, giving specified electricity point and socket. Note - some pitches near the river (some of these have hard standing) may require an extension cable. No wifi on site unless you eat or drink something in the bar/restaurant when you will be given a code. One washblock for the site proved sufficient even when it was full. There is a very nice spacious area alongside the river without electricity, for tents. Eberbach is a nice town with several restaurants, and a large REWE supermarket near the station, and a Lidl on the outskirts. The train from Eberbach to Heidelberg goes every 30 minutes costing €15.50 return for two people. Note : from early May there are three consecutive long weekends that means May is a popular time for Germans to go camping so you may want to book in advance to ensure a pitch and also many sites will not give ACSI discount, check the book. We full recommend this site as we had a lovely five night stay.
We stayed in October. Very nice site on river bank, convenient to town. Extremely helpful staff and beautiful food in restaurant
Arrived to find front of site deserted but were waved in by friendly person. Drove straight into deep mud as sight had been flooded. Managed to get out which is difficult with a motor home.
Owner arrived to say site closed (A notice out front would have been helpful) and to get off site. She could have been more helpful as we found all sites in area closed due to recent flooding.
