Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Excellent place, next to a great pool and a nice little town. Not an open big empty area either but more like a small village really with varying pitches and a nice layout. Well recommend it, and we\'ll be back again!

Arrived at the site 4pm, reception closed. Had to look for somebody to book us in. Site access is a little tight for longer units. All site facilities were closed except for the toilet/shower block, for which it has to be said were very clean. Showers were hot and toilet paper was provided. A majority of the pitches are taken up by seasonal occupants, which leaves the site very quiet midweek. The touring pitches then seem to be used mainly as transit visitors. There are two short cut gates to access the town, one of which requires a key card, the other is a turnstile. We were charged 19 euro per night for the pitch. 1.95 euro per person per night local tax and then 7.49 euro for electricity for a two night stay. We for this unacceptable as first of all we have never been charged for electricity on an ACSI pitch before. Secondly we weren\'t informed of a charge on arrival and thirdly we were off site all of our second day and left early next day. Where we were supposed to have used so much electricity is beyond us. At 53.29 euro for a two night stay with no available facilities and in low season, we thought this was very expensive. I doubt if we would visit this site again even though it is situated in a lovely area.

Travelling party: Couple

Stayed for one night en route. Sat nav route to be avoided, took us on single track road with 2.8 ton limit. Return from site to autoroute easy. But site in good location with Lidl and fuel station next door. Also excellent bakery.

Second visit to this site. First time in the rain, so wanted to return & visit area in better weather. Site ideally located for walk alongside river into the village & parks. Next door to Lidl & Netto close by. Plenty restaurants in the area, recommend Francesco, Italian restaurant close by. We didn’t go any further into area, but train & bus services very close. Reception staff very helpful & spoke perfect English. Restaurant/bar not open, so no comment. Toilets/showers warm & kept extremely clean. Thank you, if in area again we will return.

Travelling party: Couple

We stayed here for 2 night's on our journey to Italy.
Facilities were great.
Follow the B road to the site not the sat nav as it takes you an L road which was scary....
Fantastic area with lots to see and do.
5 minute walk to the lovely town and Lidl is next to campsite.
Would stay here again.

Aside from a lengthy drive from the motorway this camp is a must for sightseeing in the Black Forest. Facilities are first class and clean, staff really helpful and most can speak English. Miles of cycle tracks on the doorstep, will definitely use again.

Travelling party: Couple

Stayed on this campsite for three rainy nights in May. The staff were very friendly and helpful, English spoken. The two toilet blocks were very clean and accessible (one at each end of the sight). Our pitch was large enough for motorhome, car and trailer. Although we didn't use the pool/sports facilities due to the weather it looked very nice. Lidl 50 metres outside of the gates and only a short walk into the centre along the riverside. If we could have seen through the clouds the various driving routes in the area would have provided some spectacular views i'm sure.

Travelling party: Seniors

We only stayed for one night. Not too far from the motorway, though the road to get to the site was winding with a 6km stretch of 70kph and no overtaking. Worth the trip though - very pretty surroundings with wooded hillsides around. Close to town with a LIDL next door. Nice public park in the town with a large thermal baths and sauna complex. The pitches were a good size and the toilets were clean. A little expensive in August at 32 euros a night but we might come back in the low season. There seemed to be lots to do in the area.

Staff were very friendly helpful and welcoming. The facilities were clean and tidy as were the pitches. Would be happy to revisit.
