We stayed here for 2 night\'s on our journey to Italy.
Facilities were great.
Follow the B road to the site not the sat nav as it takes you an L road which was scary....
Fantastic area with lots to see and do.
5 minute walk to the lovely town and Lidl is next to campsite.
Would stay here again.
Aside from a lengthy drive from the motorway this camp is a must for sightseeing in the Black Forest. Facilities are first class and clean, staff really helpful and most can speak English. Miles of cycle tracks on the doorstep, will definitely use again.
Stayed on this campsite for three rainy nights in May. The staff were very friendly and helpful, English spoken. The two toilet blocks were very clean and accessible (one at each end of the sight). Our pitch was large enough for motorhome, car and trailer. Although we didn\'t use the pool/sports facilities due to the weather it looked very nice. Lidl 50 metres outside of the gates and only a short walk into the centre along the riverside. If we could have seen through the clouds the various driving routes in the area would have provided some spectacular views i\'m sure.
We only stayed for one night. Not too far from the motorway, though the road to get to the site was winding with a 6km stretch of 70kph and no overtaking. Worth the trip though - very pretty surroundings with wooded hillsides around. Close to town with a LIDL next door. Nice public park in the town with a large thermal baths and sauna complex. The pitches were a good size and the toilets were clean. A little expensive in August at 32 euros a night but we might come back in the low season. There seemed to be lots to do in the area.
Staff were very friendly helpful and welcoming. The facilities were clean and tidy as were the pitches. Would be happy to revisit.
We visited the site as part of The Black Forest Rally, along with 13 other couples. The site is well placed, with a LIDL, Netto, Village Centre and the Bus & Rail Station all being within a 12 minute walk.
Facilities are clean & well maintained, pitches are large & flat. Debra, a Canadian lady & site owner was very welcoming, and planned our coach trips for us, she did an exceptional job. The restaurant served good quality food at a reasonable price, and the attached bar was welcoming.
By using the \\\'Konus Travel Card\\\' which gives free access to all Rail & Bus services within the Black Forest, we were able to explore all the villages in the valley and surrounding area. In 12 days I only used our car once, to visit Herrenberg.
I highly recommend this site, whether visiting as an individual or part of a group, as we did. If you are organising a rally even more so, Debra will be able to arrange excellent visits for you, as she did for us.
Thanks to Debra for her input, it was appreciated.
Very friendly welcome, good English. Good site, right next to town and supermarket next door. No hard standing for large units but grass pitches are large. Surrounding area very good for exploring, train station near by which can take you direct into Switzerland. Aire right out side campsite with electric.
Very welcoming site and good English spoken by reception staff (thanks) All facilities clean and tidy. Very close to town and garage, 2 supermarkets. Little noise although clock bells and train line are close. Very handy for Stuttgart and scenic areas of Black Forest. We visited Freudenstadt and Bade Baden. This was a very pleasant stay. Recommended.
