A campsite in terrace form. Views of the Rhine and the Vogues. The site has a small pool and multifunctional playing field with artificial grass. Special trips by inflatable boats are organised to the Rhine tributary. Excellent golf centre within walking distance. The campsite has a health centre with massage and a good restaurant. Public transport in the area is free.

Stopped over for the last night of our holiday. Useful stop - but somehow we did not warm up to it (maybe the bad weather had an influence too. Pitches do not offer privacy. Small shop on site will close down in the next few days. Camp site does not accept Credit Cards (EC and cash only). ACSI accepted.
We stayed here in mid June for 2 nights. However this period was classed as high season by the site(unlike other sites in Germany we stayed on during that week) and was one of the most expensive sites we have ever stayed in in Europe. That being said, we couldn’t fault the site and the higher cost was offset by the lady in reception giving us free return train tickets to Basle
Be aware of the description - it’s no where near the Rhine and the local village and towns have very little to offer the tourer. Apart from a mature woman on reception the staff generally are quite indifferent. I had a drink in the bistro and that wasn’t particularly good. I then went to the restaurant for food. It’s a very pleasant venue but booking is advised on busy days like a few others we got shoved in an annexe made to feel second class. Food was ok. Also be aware they say they only take cash and tried to force me to get cash from a bank 2 miles away when I stood my ground they decided they have a card machine. The facilities and camp is good but not a place to stay for a good experience
Large emplacements but badly signed and very narrow lanes. We ended up at the top of the site on a new field and the caravan had to be pulled out by tractor. The two staff who pulled us out were very nice but another one shouted at us and said we were stupid and had not looked where we were going - the others agreed it was due to lack of signs. There were no signs to the rubbish or chemical toilet disposal until almost at them Restaurant good but very busy so just got a table
Stayed for two nights on a return journey from Italy. We arrived whilst they were closed for lunch but there was a notice in English with a plan of the site showing which plots were available and for how many nights so that we could get settled and then register when the office was open again. The site is actually in Bamlach, a walk of about half an hour from Bad Bellingen, where you can catch the train. Local journeys are free with the free konus card you can get when staying at the site. We didn\'t take advantage of this as it doesn\'t include dogs which aren\'t classified as small. The toilet and shower facilities were modern and clean and it was a great surprise to find the lovely swimming pool still open on 9th October. There were lots of paths and roads which weren\'t busy for walking or cycling. The additional tourist tax was euros per person per day and good value if you make use of the konus card. The girl at tourist information in Bad Bellingen was also helpful.
Good for a stop over. The pitches were very close together. We were lucky so had a clear view across the fields. But very little space to sit out. Nicely set in the countryside. Very good toilet and shower facilities. All very new and quite spacious.
Top notch site which is reflected in the site fees during peak period. Apart from Basel there is not a lot to see in the area. This site is geared up to keep you on site for an extended holiday, something I can imagine it does very well.
It’s not really a good touring base which is what we were looking for, so only stayed a couple of nights.
Great site if you want to stay onsite for a week or two.
Stayed two nights during return journey to UK after six week tour. Pitches on area for short stay were very cramped first night - less so second night. Other pitches for longer stays were better size - some quite large. Facilities very good. Being out of main season most of entertainment was closed but there did seem to be much for families to do in main season. Restaurant was very good. Overall a good atmosphere.
A very nice site situated on a hill, easy to get to though you will have to negotiate a tight narrow bridge with prioritised traffic which was ok as this is a very quiet area. Campsite is excellent, staff are friendly and the facilities are top notch. You also get free passes to catch the train or buses. We used ours to get into Basel. Lovely area for walking and running.
