A lovely campsite with marked out pitches, located 300 metres from the beach. A beautiful village with France's shortest river, just 1100 metres long. This is an extremely peaceful campsite with excellent toilet facilities. Heated indoor swimming pool, children's pool and jacuzzi.

A pleasant site. Our van is 7.5 m long and access to our pitch was a bit tight. That said, the pitch was spacious. The site it situated on the cliff top and it really is a short walk to a well maintained path the winds down the white cliffs the town of Veules Les Roses. France\'s shortest river flows through the village and spills out onto the beach. The village appeared to have at least one of everything the holiday-maker might need: cafes, butcher, baker, post office, chemist. I hope to stay here again in 2016.
Pool excellent - extremely warm. Reception closed 1 hour early on Sunday 21st June - no note or explanation so could not get information. Some sites difficult access for caravans unless a motor mover fitted. Reception poorly manned & phone ALWAYS took precedence over queuing clients. Bread could be ordered for the next morning for collection at reception but not told this on arrival. Although clean the toilets & shower facilities seemed to be constantly cleaned during peak periods of use so never sure which blocks to use. Lack of toilet paper seems poor. Water points few & far between making filling onboard water tanks difficult with many trips with buckets/watering cans. Delightful little village but beware everywhere shuts on Tuesdays - nice market on Weds.Several nice restaurant & bistros. Nearest supermarket 5 miles away plus others further afield. Would go again but other 3 star campsites in the ACSI book have been better.
Have to agree with a previous comment that this site is very over rated. We stayed for 1 night in the middle of June and only half of the toilet and washing up facilities were open. These were not overly clean and at the washing up area there was no hot water. Not impressed and we shall not return.
Very good campsite. The village is within walking distance and well worth a visit. Easier to reach by crossing over the road to where the WW2 guns are and using the cliff path. Very good walking map showing the village highlights. Swimming pool like a bath. Only small downside some of the pitches are a bit tight to get on. Bus route outside site to visit Dieppe etc. but somewhat problematic timetable at least in September when we were there.
We intended using site for a stopover, but ended up staying for over a week! Then a month later we returned for a further 4 nights. It\\\'s a lovely site with incredible views as you wander into town via the cliff path. Super weekly market and wonderful walks by the river and watercress beds.
We arrived here early June 2014. Reception staff were helpful BUT on the morning of 05 June after a stormy night when few people can have slept well a JCB and road roller arrived to repair roadways at 07.30 am with consequent noise and disruption. Many people packed up and left. Why could this job not have been done before the holiday season in the winter months? One of the worst camping experiences in over 35 years of visiting France! Would not recommend.
The management of this site we thought was poor. Some pitches would certainly not accommodate medium to large caravans. The location was good, but in our opinion the site was overated
To be fair, it was raining when we were on this site, but we did appreciate the quality of the swimming pool area and the sports facilities. The pitch was big and the facilities were decent. The village is beautiful with the cliff views and the shortest river in France. We will definitely return.
Very unhelpful reception (refused to accept our cold packs even though they have a freezer available, so we could not keep food); we would not have stayed at all but it was late in the day. Our pitch was 100 metres from any water, and even more to any other facilities. Pitches are too close together. We left as soon as we could. On the plus side, the village of Veules-les-Roses is a pleasant walk away, and is definitely worth a visit.
Beautiful surrounding area; large pitches; communal toilet facilities, which we do not like. Information says 80% wi-fi; this is not so. Reception sold us wi-fi without telling us that the site we had chosen could not receive connection and would not refund. Had to walk to office to connect, but receptionist not there when she should have been, so had to stand outside in rain to connect. Wi-fi is important to us. We would have stayed for a week, but stayed only one night.

For instance, one dog is included in the rate (if dogs are permitted in general), but it is likely you will need to pay extra for a second or third dog. One hot shower per person per night is included, but you may have to pay for a second hot shower. This does not imply that all amenities not in bold are free! Some may need to be paid for.
