Travelling party: Couple

2nd year using this site as a one night stopover. Must get around to doing a longer stay. Village looks beautiful and would like to cycle the green route.

Travelling party: Couple

Friendly welcome. Marked out hedged pitches which were well kept. Unisex toilet block was dated with only 2 showers but 10 sinks. Showers were uncontrollable temperature and on the cold side. Toilets were in a separate section- no seats or paper. Washing up sinks were undercover but outside with only cold water, hot water had to be collected and transferred across. Short walk through site into town. Ok stopover.

Travelling party: Couple

Sad to say this was the worst nights camping in 25 years! The owner didn’t tell us that there was a wedding party staying on the camping, had he done we would gone elsewhere. Instead he put us next to the recreation area and next to a tent. The after party went on until after 3 am! At 3 am, we couldn’t stand it any longer so drove to a pitch further away where it was quieter. That kind of behavior should not be allowed on an ACSI site.

Lovely pitches and a short walk to a pretty village centre. Keen cyclists like us will love the Avenue verte which is close by. Showers good, for the toilet bring your own paper. Very friendly reception guy and we loved the “pick your own” herb garden. Will come again.

Great stopover. Large grass pitches but solid. Easy access for big boys. Mixed toilets, no seats or paper but clean. Recommended!
