Easy campsite to get to from Ouistreham, we stayed two nights in our way south and would have stayed longer had the weather been ok. Road cycling in the area was great on the smaller D roads, we did a fab 30mile circuit. We’d planned a ride to Hornfleur but the weather stopped us. Next time!! Reception was friendly, check in was easy. WiFi free and quite good. The pool and pool area looked lovely but we didn’t get a chance to try it out. Pitches are good size and level with electric and water. There are two toilet blocks with toilet paper and soap. There is only one shower in the ladies and I believe two on the gents. I thought this might have been a problem but it wasn’t. There is a bar area but we didn’t get to try it. There is a walk at the lake which looks lovely, handy for did owners I’d think. Overall a pleasant stay in close proximity to what looks like a busy, thriving town
We have stayed here twice now, just been in June, & same time last year. Toilets & showers could do with an upgrade, very small. A lovely neat tidy site, refurbished swimming pool and now covered. We arrived on Sunday and Monday is Market Day, thoroughly enjoyed this site and quaint Norman Town. Lovely cafes, & the large one on the corner of the square has a very reasonable priced menu. The lakes are a joy for evening walks. Didn\'t have opportunity to try the menu on the site.
A very well set out and tidy campsite. Pitches are very generous and firm, toilets clean and well kept. The town of Pont Audemer is very interesting with Dickens style houses. There are good walks/cycles around the lakes and in the general area. There take-away restaurant sells wonderful fish and chips reminding me of home. Thanks to Karine & Patrice for their friendly help and service. we will see you again in the future.
Stayed end of August, on a pitch near entrance to site. Unfortunately there was a wedding party on site, who returned to site during the early hours of the morning, making no effort to keep quiet. Site barrier urgently needs reinstating as at present it allows taxis to come on site during the early hours. Site urgently needs a mandatory speed limit. Some of the offenders may be residents on site, feel with small children about it is an accident waiting to happen.
Only one shower in gents facilities, which is not adequate.
Stayed on this campsite 2 nights with a caravan, freindly staff, clean and tidy with good facillities. Well positioned for the town which is interesting and for trips into normandy. Great walking around the neighbouring lakes. Easy to find following instructions. would definitely use again.
The grassy pitches are small and we were allocated a place between 2 other motorhomes, with little privacy, though there were many empty places.
Facilities adequate and clean, though premixed shower water barely hot enough.
Free WiFi worked well, although we had to log in again every 60 minutes, as the connection went off hourly without warning. Madame said it was to prevent people downloading films, but she hadn't told us this would happen.
Pleasant walking round the adjacent small lakes, though It was a very long walk into the town.
Coming from Rouen direction, access was awkward and we saw no signposts at all. Only found the site via the SatNav.
A good price using the ACSI Card, but otherwise little to recommend this campsite. The Receptionist needs to be more welcoming (in French or English) and to be available at the posted times.
