What a hidden gem, stopped overnight on way home would have stayed longer if time allowed , superb little campsite, welcoming staff, hot showers clean facilities, didn\'t use pool but would guess it\'s great in the summer. lovely walk through the woods for the dog to the town which has several restaurants - not all were open in October. Didn\'t use the campsite restaurant but food looked reasonable prices , but did buy a bottle of their homemade cider which was so nice we had to buy another couple of bottles to take home. Would definitely recommend
Good site in quite location, ideal overnight stop, hour or so from Le Harve and easy distance to Caen and Dieppe. Staff friendly, facilities clean and warm, although perhaps a little dated. Walk down to village is well worth it, it\'s a beautiful Normandy village with an impressive large Abbey with historical links to the UK. Have used before and I am sure that we will visit again .
Fantastic site near to a beautiful village. We will definately return.
We have stayed on this site countless times and expect to stay many more. I cannot comment on child friendliness as we don\'t have any and I have never really thought about the site as a sports facility. I have marked food and drink as 4 stars not 5 because the restaurant offers good, well cooked but basic food; just what you need after a long drive or an extensive sight seeing ramble. We\'re not talking cordon blue here but yhis evening after a 5 hour drive from the Charente, my wife and I had hamburger and fries which came with a good green salad and when I\'ve had a burger in the UK I can\'t recall ever being asked how I wanted the burger cooked. I asked for medium rare and that\'s what I got!
A little into the country! Busy site for an over night stop in busy times. Very friendly staff. Pitches have no definition and choose where you like.
Good site for a stopover with good sized pitches although few with any real shade. Pretty village with Abbey a steep decent from the campsite through woods ( sensible shoes required) is well worth a visit. Covered pool is shallow 1.2m deep but ok for swimming. Food reasonably priced and good. We had Mussels and chips. Staff friendly. No bread on Wednesday! Locally produced Cider and honey on sale.
Enjoyable stay at a peaceful location in countryside. Would prefer hedges separating pitches - it did look like a large car park on grass, but that is just my opinion. Five petanque terrains - a game we enjoy - so this was marvellous although a bit of weeding would make them more loved but it is early season so maybe on the TO DO List.
We stayed as a stopover on our way down and back to Dieppe on our recent holiday in April. The site is set in the middle of woodlands and is lovely and quiet. Staff were very friendly and we had a lovely drink and meal in the small bar and restaurant. We would like to come back and stay for more than just an overnight stop.
Lovely site with good facilities. Access road narrow as others have mentioned but no a problem. We were disappointed that the snack bar was closed after reading other reviews (4 October). Will use a again as a stopover.
Overnight stay , and we were late. Long journey from centre of France. Everything was found to be good standard, and the food at the restaurant was a welcome task we did not have to sort out ourselves. We will use this site as one of our reliable venues when here again, but overnight only
