Travelling party: Couple

Nice campsite on the edge of the lake. Quite well layed out with plenty of shading from the trees. Apparently you can pay extra to have a pitch right by the side of the lake. The entrance to the site has been altered take the entrance by the car park, although this is quiet narrow, would be hard for two caravans to pass in & out. Nice walk down the side of the lake to cafe by the marina.

Arrived and was told there were no places available for ACSI card holders so instead had to pay regular price per night and yet there were available pitches in the ACSI area. A lovely location but let down by money grabbing site

We paid extra (€26 per night) to be near the lake and we were allocated a pitch on the second row, no choice was offered. When I asked why, we were told that the front row was full. Annoying therefore to see empty front row pitches and other people wandering around choosing a pitch. Clearly not full nor booked out. Get the impression that ACSI ‘members’ not really welcome. Won’t be coming back. Beautiful location, customer service not so good.
