Travelling party: Couple

Very nice family run campsite in a beautiful rural setting. Facilities simple but very clean and lovely hot water in the showers. Pitches not really demarcated but easy to find a good spot. We like simple small campsites so this was right up our street. The pool wasn’t open as we were here the end of September but it looked lovely! We would return.

It appears that it\'s been a long time since this site has been reviewed which is a shame. We are here on a one night stopover on our return to Ireland from the TdF in the Alps. It\'s only 2.5 miles off the motorway so you\'re not diverted from your route. Very friendly welcome and pitches are very big with either sunny or sheltered sites. Great views from the site over the Loire and access to the river from the site. The outdoor swimming pool was in great use when we arrived. As the description says it\'s a very peaceful site. Really wish we had time to stay for another few days. Facilities are as you\'d expect for a 3 star site and everything was clean. Can\'t really fault anything and will happily return someday for a longer visit.

A lovely camping site. Beautiful country all around. Friendly reception and different types of pitch to choose from. Sanitary facilities very clean, no loo roll though, be prepared. Swimming pool is really nice. Supermarket just a short drive (or cycle) away. Excellent location for stopover without a detour but also looks good for a longer stay.

Stayed in the middle of May, pitches were good but not marked out and electric points can be far away.
Pool and bar was closed which was expected, but toilet facilities were poor. Only one standard sit down toilet which had no paper or seat.
Wash basins the twice I used them were full of little flies. Only a stopover site
