Warm welcome at reception. Wifi free and good coverage. Swimming pool warm with plenty of beds. Large supermarket just down the road but not publicised in campsite. Vineyard trip was informative and entertaining followed by welcome meeting and wine tastingPossible to cycle to Geneva but first couple of miles on a busy road
We were forced to stay longer than we\'d planned because of a car problem. The family were extremely helpful. Its a lovely site - we\'ll go back!!
Access is easy from the motorway.
The site is in a small village very near the Swiss border. In fact when you drive into Geneva Neydens feels like a suburb.
Visitors can use the sites indoor heated pool but about half a mile away there is a huge shopping and leisure complex with large swimming pools with slides.
We stayed for two nights at the beginning of April and found a really tidy and well maintained site. We received a warm welcome from the owner who was very helpful and spoke good English.
The pitches are of a good size separated by hedging and are hardstanding, which was just as well as the grass was very soft underfoot.
There are views of the mountains towards Geneva.
Only one toilet block was open but it was heated and there was plenty of hot water.
The restaurant was open and although we didn’t eat there it had a good menu.
A lovely well managed site which I thoroughly recommend.
Lovely site with large pitches and very friendly staff. Close to Geneva. We will definitely come back to this site.
We returned to La Colombière for a two week stay after discovering it as a stop-over point last year.
It was as good, if not better than we remembered it. Our pitch looks onto mountains both to the east and the west. The site feels like being in a beautiful park with a variety of splendid trees and shrubs defining each pitch. We had the added bonus of the start of autumn colours.
All members of the Bussat family speak good English and are extremely helpful and friendly. The toilets / showers are kept spotless. The outdoor pool was still at 24 ͦ despite temperatures beginning to fall.
The changing clientel on the site ranges from retirees, like ourselves to young families with babes in arms; this site has something for everyone. Will we come back again? We certainly hope so.
La Colombiere is an excellent site. It is personally managed by members of the family who care about their customers and will do everything they can to make your stay a good one. The piches are generally spacious and level, many with hard-standings, so very suitable for heavy motorhomes. You are shown to your pitch and given a choice - nothing is too much trouble. We will be returning to this quality site.
Nice campsite with grass ground, clean and with a camping area specially thinked for people staying for only one night (as our case).
Toilet facilities are quite good for what is usual in France, but maybe should have bigger buildings, or some more. With the camping at 90% capacitiy, sometimes you have to wait for an empty shower.
My wife and I have stayed here for the last 3 years. We find all the facilities 1st class, we find the Bussac family very kind also there wine is good.
