Wi-Fi was free although it did say in the office it was a low amount a day. My husband needed a doctor whilst we were there. Owner gave us all details and helpfully drew a map on how to get there. Convenient site for visiting Alps, Lac Lemon, Evian, Geneva etc. Unfortunately not the best weather when we were there and pool was covered so unable to use.
On arrival it had the air of being in need of some TLC-it looked a bit unkempt. Probably because there had been lots of rain. But when the sun came out things improved, the grass was cut on the empty pitches(sadly not ours) and around the cabins. Access is a bit tight and we dislodged a fairly newly installed tap post which was in a very awkward position for access to our pitch with a long caravan. The owner was obviously upset ( he\'d only recently had them installed) but we offered to pay for repairs which cost us 80 euros and he was fine with that but it still wasn\'t done by the time we left!! We ended up staying nearly 3 weeks ( we were searching for a place to rent over the winter ski season), longer than we needed but it was very quiet and peaceful and we met some lovely people and stayed longer. Good walking for our dog too in the area ( apart from lots of ticks in the woods). Our only complaint really was the standard of the sanitary facilities: the owner used a high pressure hose to clean everything, but didn\'t seem to use any cleaning fluids or sponges/brushes etc. The sinks in particular needed a good scrub - there was a lot of deposit around the taps which made the sinks look very grubby and often there were dead insects and hair in and around the sinks. Not nice! There didn\'t seem to be any cold water available in the basins to do your teeth either - all hot water taps. Some of the toilets sometimes didn\'t have paper, but generally speaking the loos were clean and ok. The showers were small, with only one tiny shelf and one hook. Adequate but we have seen far superior for the same standard of campsite! Lovely position, relaxed and friendly site, walking distance to Maxiilly with a good butchers, boulangerie/café and very pleasant park. Recommend highly - understated but pleasant, quiet, nice little basic pool ( I imagine gets overcrowded in peak season) and pleasant owners.
Slightly slopping pitches. Narrow site roads. Water and electricity supply good. 4A, 6A & 10a avaialable so make sure you get the 10A listed in book.
Friendly staff. Good Wi-Fi on pitch and there was talk of a charge of 50 cents per day which was not charged. Pitches with shade available if required and some a little small..
