Travelling party: Couple

Stayed here for one night. This was unplanned as we left our previous campsite early as our motorhome was sinking into the grass. What a lovely place and a great welcome from the lovely young couple who now own it. Large, tidy pitches and some suitable for heavy motorhomes. Gate from site to river. Very dog friendly. Ate at the snack bar - limited choice but very tasty. Didn't use pool but it looked good. Would stay here again.

Decided to pull off congested motorway on route to the south and found this gem of a campsite. As we pulled in, another camper with his children stated 'Stay here, its a fantastic site with a fantastic pool'. He was spot on. The pitches are of a good size with fresh water taps everywhere. The pool was just the tonic after a bit of a slog to get down here and we ended up staying for a couple of days.

As it says in its description, good place for a night-stop. My wife, a sun lover was disappointed by height of hedges which obscured early morning and late evening sun - leylandii strike again! Wifi, although free, we had no success in connecting.

We chanced upon this delightful little site as we were making our return journey from the Mediterranean to Calais and the ferry back to the UK. The main reason for our choice of this site was its convenient location just off the A7 autoroute. We had visited this area some 6 years earlier but had not been to this site, so we were absolutely delighted when we arrived to find such a tranquil setting. Access is very easy from the A7. There was a very warm welcome from the proprietors and, as we arrived quite early in the day, we had the choice of virtually any pitch. The pitches are of a generous size - even for our large English caravan. The toilet/shower facilities are superb, the swimming pool is excellent and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking. Thge valleys of the stunning Ardeche region are on your doorstep, or you can cross the Rhone to visit the fabulous Drome region. We were only able to stay for 2 days, but we'll definitely be back at the next opportunity!

Stayed here for a week in September 2012. Had intended to stay overnight on way south but stayed for 7 nights. It's a family run site. Owners are friendly and helpful. Madame has good English. The facilities are very clean. The pool and the pool area are excellent and the pitches are large. The entire site is well maintained, mostly used by Dutch and German visitors. Nice ambience. Can be used as a base to explore the Ardeche area. Near to Privas with its shops and supermarkets, etc. but in a quiet rural location. Would definitely use the site again.
