Wonderfully peaceful and shady here under the chestnut trees. A small campsite with good toilet facilities close to the Voie Verte cycle route. The village of Laurac-en-Vivarais is close by and there is a supermarket 4 km away. No noisy evening entertainment, so quiet.

Wir machen auf unserer Fahrt nach Spanien sehr gerne Halt für ein paar Tage auf diesem tollen Platz - sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Besitzer.

Sehr netter und freundlicher Empfang. Gepflegter, sehr ruhig gelegener Campingplatz mit grossen Parzellen - je nach Wunsch mit Schatten unter Bäumen oder weniger Schatten. Es können auch Bungalow gemietet werden. Die Sanitär-Anlage wird regelmässig gereinigt und ist sehr sauber.
Am Morgen gibts frisches Baguette (muss vorbestellt werden). Im kleinen Lädeli können regionale Produkte wie Konfitüre, Honig, Wein usw. gekauft werden. Auf unserer Reise nach Spanien haben wir auf dem tollen Campingplatz schon einige Male für ein paar Tage die Ruhe genossen und können den Platz nur weiterempfehlen.

De camping ligt helemaal in het groen. De meeste plaatsen afgescheiden door een haag. Ziet er sfeervol uit. De gastvrouw van de recepte spreekt geen enkel woord Engels en dat is tegenwoordig toch de internationale voertaal. Iets duidelijk maken gaat alleen in het Frans.
Het sanitair wordt regelmatig schoon gemaakt en alles doet het, hoewel gezien de bezetting niet allle capaciteit werd ingezet. Brood kan van te voren besteld worden. Het zwembad ziet er door het ontwerp fraai en uitnodigned uit, maar de temperatuur van het water doet dat niet: wordt verwarmd door de zon. In mei is het water dan (nog) niet aangenaam opgewarmd.
De vermelding in de gids over aan- en afvoer water binnen de 15m is niet geheel juist, want je hebt geen aansluiting op de plaats. Er zijn enkele (twee?) plaatsen die binnen de 10m aan-en afvoer alsook een stortplaats voor chemisch toilet hebben. De plaatsen van het lagere plateau zijn een beetje gemengd met stacaravans (vaste plaatsen). In het weekend soms bezet. In het algemeen erg rustig.
De gratis WiFi werkt redelijk en uitstekend vlakbij de receptie. Hoe verder daar vandaan hoe zwakker het signaal. Camping ligt afgelegen en daardoor veel tijd kwijt om er te komen vanaf de autoroute. Voor hen die rust zoeken is dit de ideale camping. Het plaatsje zelf, Laurac-en-Vivarais, heeft niet veel bijzonders te bieden.
De plattegrond van de camping bevat geen windroos en dat is toch wel handig om te hebben voor het zoeken van een geschikte plek m.b.t. de zon en/of de plaatsing van de satellietschotel.
