Hidden reservation charge when booking online. This only became evident once the booking had been made. There was not hot water in the showers, hand basins or for dishwashing.

Travelling party: Couple

We stayed 3 nights here on our way south. The site is a bit off the usual route south but much better than some of the normally targeted stopping off points. Very friendly manager and staff. I called the day before to ensure availability but needn’t have as there was plenty of space. You can check in anytime from10am. Very quiet when we where there. Had a choice of pitches. Took one on the riverside. Nicely laid out site and well kept grass pitches with hedges between each. A nice bar. reasonable prices. We didn’t use the restaurant. An easy 10 minute walk to a picturesque small town centre with a supermarket. Toilet and shower facilities acceptable with warm showers (no toilet paper). we would definitely return. Note though the swimming pool is closed and as far as I could see has no chance of reopening as it’s overgrown and can only be demolished.

Quiet campsite with a bar. Fabulous Michelin star village immediately next door to the campsite, Georges Blanc. Traditional village has some small restaurants and bars. Market on Thursday.
