General information

Camping de L'Hérein is a campsite with 120 touring pitches and 26 year round pitches. During low season, between 22-08-2020 - 15-10-2020, the nightly rate is €16,- at one of the 120 touring pitches at Camping de L'Hérein in Visan (Vaucluse). At this campsite you can not only use your CampingCard ACSI for inexpensive camping, you can also use your ACSI Club ID (as an alternative ID).

A quiet family campsite with new toilet facilities, a large swimming pool, bar and new restaurant. Wifi on the entire site is free. Small shop selling fresh fruit from the site's orchard. Plenty of cycling opportunities, close to Nyons, Vaison-la-Romaine and the Mont Ventoux.

Det er en dejlig plads for os som rejser uden for sæsonen. Stille, rolig og meget hyggelig. Vi har været der 3 år i træk og kommer helt bestemt igen.

Travelling party: Couple

Stopped to see friends here on way South. Cant comment on all facilities as spent evening with them, but found staff and toilets ok. Pool looked good. We found some pruning could be done, as our motorhome scraped a little on entry and leaving .

Visited some 20 years ago and the site was immaculate and busy.
Today the trees are overgrown an the same emplacement we used was overgrown and unsuitable for a camping car. The roads are broken and poor and the pool was not open (empty) as advertised.
As plus the sanitaire is relatively new though understandably half shut. The interior is well equipped and modern. WiFi was very good and fast (very few people on site).
Next time I will view first before committing.

Travelling party: Group of friends

We spent a lovely 5 days here as a family of four adults with camper van and awning. The showers and toilets were good. A really nice swimming pool too. Very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to put on various entertainments. The bar and the food excellent. A great base for visiting all the villages in Provence.
