Travelling party: Couple

We enjoyed our stay and would have stayed longer than the four days as there are so many beautiful villages around. We were predominately there to see the lavender fields though a little early for some.
The reason for cutting short our stay was as another camper had commented in a previous review. Very noisy french youths who\'d shout, yell, sing loudly and even scream from late evening until 3 or 4am. I hasten to add that this happened outside the campsite on the riverbank, but at one point within 5 meters of out tent. After the third night we told the management we were leaving the next day, they explained that they had called the police over the noise problem. The fourth night was blissfully quiet! It would appear that as this was not the first incident of this nature, you have to take pot luck over this occasional occurance.

Travelling party: Couple

The situation of this site is superb, within walking or cycling distance of the beautiful town. However pitches are very varied in size, some like ours in the same area as rented accommodation. We had a large French party staying; talking loudly & shouting until 4am but there was no sign of management to control the noise. There were only two toilet blocks open over a very busy Whit weekend and the facilities are \"tired\" and need updating. Reception has good information and staff were helpful though quite curt because they were so busy. The bar and grocery were not open until July. The pitches could do with some care to make the place more attractive and appealing. The site was adequate but I think we only stayed as long as we did because of the great location and good weather!

Travelling party: Seniors

We visited the site twice-May 2014 and Sept 2014.On the first visit 2 of the 3 sanitary blocks were open which meant queueing for showers etc, over the Pentecost w/end the site was complet but the management allowed camping in the childrens play park and the barbecue site. In Sept a large area of the site was dedicated to East European cycle clubs etc and this was normal for the whole of the summer season. The cyclists would prepare to leave very early in the morning being very noisy and when they returned at night the showers etc were overwhelmed . Later in the evening they would gather to sing and talk well into the night and the concierge who was well aware of this did absolutely nothing.
