I have used this campsite before and it hasn’t changed. Easy
walking distance from historic Avignon is still its best feature. The unkempt site and archaic toilet facilities have not changed. Bureaucracy though is at a new level. The young man in reception gives you a complex form to complete. It took on average 10 minutes per person for details that are already on your ACSI card - which could easily be photocopied. This site needs a regeneration

Lovely site within walking distance of the city. Reception staff very helpful. Pitches are spacious and mostly shaded. Sanitary facilities are plentiful in one large building. The site has a shop where you can order your morning baguette (through reception). Close to main bridge into city (48 steps) then stroll across to visit the historical sites, including 5 free museums in the town. Some road noise during the day but very peaceful at night. We didn’t use any sports facility.

We stayed here on 9th November 2023. Toilets and shower are clean and hot even in November. City centre it’s over the bridge, very close. It rained all night and it is not great, some pitches are full of water. Touristic tax is /person and you pay also for kids. The internet is for 4 devices but it works very very slowly, something like 20 years ago, you can’t do anything. Lost money.

Perfect place to stop and visit the beautiful town of Avignon. Very warm welcome and very efficient service. Sandy pitches quite small and tree stumps can mean some manoeuvring for larger vans. Well shaded for the heat. Toilet and shower facilities older but clean and shower stays on without a push button. would certainly recommend.

Great location, but site is in need of improvements. The wash facilities whilst constantly being cleaned are in desperate need of a revamp. Our pitch was uneven, dirt and bits of old worn broken glass. The trees create good shade and interest.

The campsite is in the perfect situation to visit Avignon by foot or cycle. It\'s a 25 minute walk to the train station to go to Arles or Orange or further afield.

The receptionist spoke perfect English and was perfectly polite. You can order bread at reception to collect from the small shop in the morning.

The pitches are small and separated by trees. The sanitary block is old and draughty and was supposed to be heated but it didn\'t feel warm to us. It is clean and tidy and the water is hot so that\'s a plus. The toilet cubicles are tiny; no toilet seats but plenty of toilet paper.
I had to rate the last three categories but they weren\'t applicable to us so I gave them three stars each.
