Stayed for two nights in May at this large campsite. Lots of mobile home type chalets near the front, it's a good 5 minute walk to where we were from the front, which is where all the rubbish bins are. Toilet block is basic with mixed men's and women's toilets and showers in same block. Could do with upgrading. Nice local town with lots of character and a 20 minute walk to the supermarket in the opposite direction. Despite the size of the place it was quiet and we enjoyed it
Warm welcome on arrival, but sadly the site did not live up to our expectations. Facilities were very tired and badly in need of some tlc. Most of the large touring pitches were at the back, a long way from most of the facilities. Lots of statics. We had intended to stay for 3 weeks but left after 10 days.
Excellent value out of season pitches good size for larger outfits. Excellent pools even one for adults only
Pleasant campsite with pitches of varying size, some private some not. Hedges full of flowers when we visited in June, and a lovely fragrant scent. Staff friendly and helpful and speak good English. Toilet and showers ok but dated.
Delightful site. Big, spacious pitches, some very private if that's what you prefer (we do). Lovely pool area, big main pool exceptionally clean then a completely separate adults only area with small pool if you like peace. Located just outside the village so just a short walk in to a traditional hillside village. Very pretty. Managed to cycle to coast along good roadside cycle track. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Excellent site overall. Well laid out with both sunny and shady pitches all of a good size. Staff very helpful (even with our poor attempt at French, they speak good english if needed) very large pool. Good assess to the local village (500m) and also a lake to cool the dog off. Great cycling to be had in the local area. Would recommend
First time we have ever returned to the same campsite, after visiting France for 30 years, we were not disappointed, the Mimosa in June were stunning, the site is well run by friendly staff. Walking distance of lovely village and convenient for many of the south of France's attractions. Excellent swimming pool and adults only spa, they have promised to supply a ramp for my wheelchair for easier access next time.
a fantastic campsite well worthy of its 4 start rating, the swimming pool area is brilliant with a 50 metre pool for all, a 25 metre pool for adults only which has spa elements to it plus to spa tubs and a sauna room. Opposite the lake with wonderful views of La Rocque which is famous here, you can also have free canoeing on the river up to the lake. 10 mins walk into town with somenice bars and restaurants and lovely walks around
Will go again and highly recommend and its just off the A8
Spent the last 2 weeks of September at this site before moving in to Italy and we can only say the whole experience was outstanding. The staff were efficient helpful and friendly. The sanitary facilities were excellent, the pool and spa area were a dream and the location of the site was perfect for local supermarkets, the mountains and the coast. Had the site not been closing on 30th September we would have stayed longer, but we will certainly return. A gem.
