The facilities were good, but that’s where it ends, all looks very good on the approach in but after that they are very cramped pitches, we booked a month ahead but I feel as ACSI card holders we were very much put in the lower class pitches, although walking round there were only a few better ones, a shame we cannot put photos on here as we were next to what I can only describe as a shabby, old, mess of a caravan that totally lets any site down, I am surprised at this star rating site they allow such a poor standard, it has obviously been there a while, on our first arrival we were tempted to cut our losses (as had paid upfront) and move on to somewhere better, would not return.
The pitches are very well established on terraces. Can be tricky getting onto pitch with large caravan as some turns are sharp but manageable, overhanging trees can be a nuisance. Showers good, just warm enough with separate toilet block, both clean. Beach is excellent and private, dogs were allowed on lead. Staff very helpful, supposedly 6amp pitches but are fuse blew a number of times and a member of staff had to come and reset it as fuse box locked. We had to manage electricity very carefully. Shop well stocked and bread cooked on site, very nice too.
Very easy check in, English spoken.choose your own site then tell reception.easier since not August. shop and restaurant on site.Well spread out site, very peaceful but check your neighbours..Spanish teens arrived in rented motor homes but then ear plugs needed as they talk LOUD. site has underpass to beach and good cycle path to port grimaud. Can reccomend this site to all for 2 or 3 days stop if in the area. clean and safe.
Pleasant enough campsite, reception staff spoke good English, toilet and showers clean, pitches unfortunately have a major ant problem, we where in a Motorhome, I wouldn't have wanted to have been in a tent. The road outside the site is also a major problem, very busy with lots of accidents.
There is a cycle path outside the site which is very useful for visiting the local area which is beautiful.
Despite its downfalls would probably visit again.
Site really well located as mentioned on previous reviews. Staff very helpful, I had to contact a very uncontactable citron dealer and the receptionist could not be more helpful, this involved several calls over 3 days.
Good location next to the beach and can cycle to St Tropez, Port Grimaud and St Maxime all along the cycle paths. Reception and bar area all very neat and tidy and have obviously just been refurbished. We ate in the restaurant and was very good and reasonably priced. We stayed over in the pine wood area as the beach side was full and I'm glad we did. The pitches over in our area seemed a lot bigger, not as cramped as over on the beach side. Good sized supermarket on site, prices a little expensive but that is to be expected on a campsite supermarket. No free WiFi and prices for the WiFi were quite high. Toilet block in our area needed updating but the showers were hot and quite powerful.
After being misled via email with regards pitch availability we enjoyed this campsite, which was very busy and friendly, staying for 12 nights. Easy access to an excellent sandy beach and various other locations in the area. Toilets and showers clean and always warm, staff very efficient. Pitches off beach side on terrace and some did look a little tight.
Good site with level pitches some in shade.
Good toilet blocks which were cleaned throughout the day. Push button showers. Reception open all day. Supermarket on site. Beach and the Med just across the road via tunnel. Short distance from Port Grimaud and St Tropez. Wifi available throughout site at extra charge.
We visited the site in September and had emailed prior to request a pitch as our motorhome is 8mtrs. When we arrived they were unsure if we could fit on a pitch as our motorhome is 8mtrs and we had a bike rack on the back. We indicated that we could take the bike rack off and they told us to have a look at a couple of pitches and decide if we could fit. There was no problem and we fitted easily even with the bikes on and with room to spare. we stayed on the road side as the pitches are bigger and if you go on the outer edges they are bigger still, in the middle looked very cramped. On the beach side was all very nice but you would have to have one on the beach to have the benefit and again these were cramped. The site is very big but the facilities are very well maintained with cleaners working all day and well into the evening, plenty of hot water. Location of the site is very good with the cycle track outside the front gate where you could cycle to St-Tropez and Grimaud the one way and St-Maxime the other way would recommend if you want to visit the area.
