Stayed here for 2 nights on the way home ,received a very friendly welcome and was advised which pitches were suitable for our 9 Metre motor home . It was very hot when we were there and a shady pitch was very welcome. The toilet block was always very clean and the swimming pool was great with plenty of sun beds. This site is very useful to visit Avignon and the surrounding area. You are sure of a warm welcome from Claude and his family
We arrived intending to stay for a couple of nights and ended up staying for eight and would have stayed longer if commitments allowed. Great welcome to the site and a free choice of pitch with guidance about sun positions and Mistrale direction. Two sanitary blocks which were kept immaculate throughout our stay. Free wifi near Reception and stronger signal around new block. In early season the wide choice of pitches allowed you to select how much sun you preferred with some high hedges, carefully pruned trees giving dappled shade and open situations too. Our strongest memory will be the genuine warmth and interaction with the staff who were, without exception, friendly, interested and responsive - a great credit to the owner!
Very nice and helpful managers, who spoke enough English to be helpful, and provided loads of information on local tourist spots. Manager rang local restaurants to find one open and it was great - L'Olivers - would highly recommend this restaurant. Campsite had a new amenities block in the centre, which was clean. The amenities up the front near reception are truly unisex. Campsite is family run and had a table tennis table available to use, the pool was still empty from winter so can't comment. We had to move pitches to be as close to reception as possible to get WiFi, but it did work. Would recommend this campsite as a base to visit the historical sites in the area.
Stayed here in the Spring and loved it! Had planned to try another site nearby but it just did not come up to the standard of Les Micocouliers so we came back here! We are so glad we did! A classy new toilet block had been opened and more sunny pitches had been created! Wonderful!
The owners of the site are so friendly and helpful.
We visited places we had visited in the Spring and also some new ones. A horse festival was one of the highlights!
We'll be back!
The pitches were on the small side, there was only just room for car, caravan & awning. There was little or no grass on the pitch. The site looked a little tired, even though our visit was in June. The Mulberry trees, while giving shade, deposited their fruit on the ground which could leave stains on anything. This was a good site for visiting the Camargue and southern areas of the Rhone Valley. The site was run by a husband & wife team, the wife spoke a little english. This was a reasonable site but not as good as others we have found in France.
Excellent site located to visit any of the bigger cites around or stay with the provencal countryside. Particularly enjoyed towns along the Rhône and the local roman ruins.
