The site access from the A10 was straightforward even when towing a 7.3m caravan. Owners very pleasant and extremely hard working. The site is immaculately presented even nearing the end of the season in October. Pitches are all a good size and flat with low hedges to define boundaries. Only one toilet block was open at this time of year and even though it was somewhat basic, it was spotlessly clean. There are plans posted for a completely new toilet block for the future, this will be a great improvement. There is good walking and cycling routes in the area and a visit to Futuoscope theme park is a must, as is the city of Poitiers. Will I return, you bet I will.

Gem of a campsite. Staff friendly and helpful. Pitches a good size and well maintained. New toilet blocks to be built soon but the ones there are adequate and clean. Nice bar, pool and play area. Will use this site again.

Stayed for 2 nights early June, could have stayed longer but on our way south. Site very clean and tidy, grass pitches with low hedges between them. Electrical connection might need an extra long cable to go from EHU to the caravan, supply rated at 10 amps. Bread etc can be ordered for the following day. Bar open but we did not try it. At the time of our visit the open air pool was covered bot it looked a decent size, usual rules - no shorts. Within walking distance of small village of Avanton, bread and a few supplies available in the 2 shops. Main supermarkets are about 2 to 3 miles away for a major shop and or fuel. Staff very helpful and polite with a good command of English. Unisex toilets in 2 blocks but only 1 open at the time of visit. A new facility is planned for 2020. Adequate supply of hot water on push button at fixed temperature. Large playing field, crazy golf, trampolines and a few children\'s swings complete the play time facilities.
A deposit for the barrier key if you want to go in and out.
All in all a good site .

After all the rain and failing to find a campsite with hard standings this place was a joy to find. After explaining that we didn't want to a grass parking area because of the rain the Receptionist showed us a choice of 4 lovely parts chippings part grass pitches. The site was peaceful, quiet, flat. The toilets were basic but clean. The French Couple running the site were extremely welcoming to us. Would definitely go again. Stayed for 5 nights.

In May this was a haven of peace and quiet. The pitches were of good size, level and surrounded by a low hedge. The site is on the edge of the village and has woods and fields on two sides. The facilities were clean and there is bread available to order in the office. Access from the A10 was straight forward and the site is signposted in the village. We didn't use the WIFI as it came up on my computer as not being safe. A previous review says English owners but the woman in the office hardly spoke any English.

Very convenient stop-off site on the way to Spain/Portugal or to the Channel ports. Very friendly owners, Annie and Gil, who proved exceedingly helpful when we needed an urgent repair to our Motorhome. Facilities very clean, although uni-sex. Pleasant village just a short walk away with restaurants and shops, and a large Super-U hypermarket just 5 kms away in a small town, that also has an excellent Veterinarian clinic. The site is mainly grass with well-kept hedges, with three hard-standings for heavier vehicles. WiFi free out of the main season, and bread can be ordered through the reception. Altogether a very pleasurable stay!

Very friendly welcome and checking in process. The pitches are very large, flat and grassy. The area surrounding the pitches is really well kept and landscaped with lovely flowering trees and plants. The washing area is very clean and modern, although it is shared toilet and shower facilities, rather than ladies and mens. Lots of hot water and fairly powerful showers.
The surrounding area is quiet although you can walk into the local town and it has basic shops nearby. There is free WiFi for eight hours and then you have buy extra time. WiFi was fairly slow so we didn't buy extra package. We only stayed two nights as we were just passing through the area but I really enjoyed our time here.
