Travelling party: Seniors

Lovely site good pitches + facilities. Staff very helpful + pleasant. English spoken if you need it. Short walk to lovely beach, access into sea not too good due to stones + seaweed recommend crabbing shoes. Reception closed 12 to 2pm however we were lucky to be let on site to choose pitch. Short walk to town pretty working habour + good fish market.

Stayed here for 5 nights, could have stayed longer. Large level pitches. Clean well cared for toilet and shower facilities. Very, very friendly and helpful staff. Security gate at night. Bread and small deli opposite site entrance. WiFi is chargeable. Beach about 10 minute walk, beautiful sand and if you plan your visit to coincide with high tide the sea is clean and inviting. Low tide plenty of rock pools. Dogs welcome on beach no lifeguard. Easy to walk into La Cotiniere, small supermarket, small fish market and boutique type shops. Port to look at and walk around. Highly recommend this site could have stayed much longer Good cycle paths for those that feel energetic..

Just arrived.... Nearly drove passed but so glad we didn't! Calm friendly peaceful site. Well worth staying here for visiting the island.

This campsite is a lovely relaxing place to spend a few days or longer - the management give a very warm welcome - there is a bread shop opposite the site together with a bar/pizza place. Cycle path goes past the entrance as does the bus - though we did not use the bus. La Cotiniere is an easy walk and has plenty of shops and restaurants - interesting fishing port. The toilets on the campsite are undergoing a major renovation and look as if they will be finished very shortly - if you want a peaceful holiday in a convenient position - this is the place for you!
