Travelling party: Seniors

Very good campsite with good facilities, friendly staff, well-stocked shop, nice swimming pool, good range of food in the restaurant. The beach is a short walk away - only really swimmable at high tide. We're staying here a couple of extra days, because it's a little cooler here than the blistering heat elsewhere - staying longer is no hardship at all.

Sehr angenehmer Platz mit großen Stellplätzen und gutem Sanitär. Kleiner Supermarkt mit gutem Baguette. Preise sonst etwas hoch. Gute Anbindung ans Fahrradnetz. Strand mit feinem Sand aber vielen Algen. Bei Ebbe kaum nutzbar. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Travelling party: Couple

We stayed 4 nights in this well kept campsite. Pitches are mostly level and of a fair size, many with plenty of shade from large trees. It\'s an easy walk to a pleasant beach (but definitely not the best on the island). The cycle path immediately outside the campsite gates is great for getting around the island (despite poor signage in many places - however, we avoided getting lost and managed to cycle miles). Toilet facilities were plentiful and generally clean (we even found one shower cubicle with taps rather than the dreaded push buttons!!) The campsite shop was exceptionally well stocked, a bonus as other shops are not close by. We didn\'t use the pool or the restaurant but both looked good. We did enjoy the boules court. Staff speak reasonable English and are friendly.
